outlets that the attack and murder of four Americans in Benghazi was the direct result of a video. This was a lie.Obamas Rice is now guilty of another significant lie. This time it is about thethe fake Russia story.Today theNew York Times quietly issued a correction about their claims that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agreed that the Russians hacked the 2016 presidential election. The REAL number is only 4 agencies held such views. The New York Times finally admitted that the story that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies concurred on the assessment of Russian hacking of Democratic emails is...

So one right-wing propaganda mill says the intelligence community does not believe the Russians hacked into the DNC email server and attempted to hack into election machines, so you disregard the very words of intelligence agencies and the plethora of news agencies that have reported on this. I think we know who's really advocating the fake news here.

Media meltdown.
Priceless.

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/06/25/us/politics/trumps-deflections-and-denials-on-russia-frustrate-even-his-allies.html

“He doesn’t want to be set by this narrative that the Russians hacked the election when he has to negotiate with Russia, who, by the way, sits on China’s border,” said Sam Nunberg, a former campaign aide to Mr. Trump. “If Putin adamantly denies that he did it, it’s frankly not an issue to the president.”

Correction: June 29, 2017
A White House Memo article on Monday about President Trump’s deflections and denials about Russia referred incorrectly to the source of an intelligence assessment that said Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during last year’s presidential election. The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community.

I saw a video where Van Jones was even saying the Russia-Trump thing was "a nothing burger". Van fucking Jones.

The Russia collusion fairy tale is dead.

6   a   2017 Jun 30, 8:58am

What exactly would the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency add to this discussion anyhow? What resources does Coast Guard Intelligence contribute to Russian hacking investigations? They 17 number has always been a bit of a canard.

7   Dan8267   2017 Jun 30, 9:04am

The hypocrisy of the right is once again staggering. They trump up the fake scandal Benghazi for years, and now they are discarding a real scandal because it involves their team. What hypocrisy!

There are real world consequences to the Russians hacking into U.S. election machines. It's not just the DNC email and dirty laundry. The Russians tried to alter the vote by hacking into election machines. This is real voter fraud. Oh, and this comes directly from the NSA.

On Monday, the Intercept published a top-secret National Security Agency document describing Russian hacking attempts against the U.S. election system. While the attacks seem more exploratory than operational — and there’s no evidence that they had any actual effect — they further illustrate the real threats and vulnerabilities facing our elections, and they point to solutions.

The document describes how the GRU, Russia’s military intelligence agency, attacked a company called VR Systems that, according to its website, provides software to manage voter rolls in eight states. The August 2016 attack was successful, and the attackers used the information they stole from the company’s network to launch targeted attacks against 122 local election officials on Oct. 27, 12 days before the election.

So, stopping three people from registering a few fraudulent voters is critical to our republic, but stopping a hostile government from registering countless fraudulent voters and completely overturning elections is unimportant. What hypocrisy.

Tell me, when the Chinese decide that their best interests are served by the DNC and they register fake voters and alter the election so that the Democrats always win, will you be so ready to dismiss the problem?

The right's position on this issue reeks of hypocrisy.

I like their staged solidarity walkout yesterday So when NYT does a 180 on their reporting style like CNN is grudging trying to do.
They wont seem like sellouts.

I bet everyone was called to the employee conference room by the CEO who led the walkout.
"OK everybody report back here after lunch. "

Huh??? It is NYT that retracted from their original claim of all 17 and now are saying only 4 out of 17. meanwhile Susan Rice the liar has already spewed this garbage as absolute truth.

I also saw a CNN Producer on hidden camera saying the entire Russia thing was fake. And a watchdog report that said CNN had a 10:1 ratio of Russia to other news, including major terror attacks.

This came out just after CNN fired 3 reporters for another FakeAssNews story re: Trump/Russia. Which of course they redacted long after the news cycle was over.

&c - boohoo. Your side (The Gateway Pundit, Rushbo, InfoWars, etc.) cater to a certain demographic and have a long and illustrious history of questionable news so instead of being able to defend or address the current regimes accomplishments the best "your side" can do is trumpet fake news headlines by the MSM. For what it's worth, some of us have stopped taking anything coming from MSM as reliable years ago.

I don't have a side-it is what i think works best. If there was a good dem candidate, I wouldn't mind voting for one. They are not trumpeting fake news, but breitbart's investigative journalism has forced CNN and now AP to retract their news. How is that breitbart had 2-3 days to investigate and disprove articles by these "news" outlets, but the original ones did not do their due diligence. They need a Pulitzer-but hey they will problay give it to CNN.

Obama is the biggest threat. he expanded the patriot act/NSA-against campaign promises. he used the espionage act mroe than all presidents combined. He tried his best to sign the TPP.

I am pleased with trump-he is doing his best to uphold his campaign promises-unlike obama who went totally against.

You cna spin all you want, but the MSM is being exposed for the dem colluders they are. The dems thought they had Trump on Russia and it is blowing up in their faces and suddenly after 11 months of Russia, Russia, impeachment, now want to take about issues that matter. Which is what-dems never talked about issues in the campaign and never decide what they stand for-well except jihadis and the men in women's bathrooms.

The problem with dems is they are so sure about their position, that they refuse to think otherwise and so sure in their hate for anything in the right, that they are like trigglypuff. Keep going till 2020.

Where are all your posts about breitbart and fox retractions?

Maybe you should talk about the fox news wheeler story about seth rich. Cnn ran an investigation and fired people. Want to talk about what fox did when they fucked up big time? Hannity kept on going with the fake story after it was retracted. How about the breitbart lorretta lynch story? Looks like they

The utterance of the word phrase "fake news" is portrayed as some sort of recent phenomenon. I suggest in todays digital environment, it's simply more difficult to disseminate propaganda via traditional media sources as in years past. There has ALWAYS been the element of purposeful influence in the media. Most of media today is suffering from a potentially fatal disease, that being: Doubt.

22   sagacious1   2017 Jul 8, 6:23am

The internet (for those with access) has allowed the individual a voice. Predictably, it's created a certain chaos yet ultimately it's a positive development. In time, a consensus will develop and some semblance of social harmony may occur. The only risk to that, I suggest, would be those who seek to restrict the individuals voice....that's nothing short of oppression. I frequently hear "nationalism vs globalism", yet really we are already a globalist society by virtue of the internet. The battle presently is, how as a global community do we wish to be governed? Which model is superior....one in which each individual should have a voice, or one where an individual should not?

Lets talk-that has not been proven either way. Come out with facts and prove he was just murdered by a robber who didn't bother to take his wallet. Whereas CNNs numerous stories are just fake.

Many aspects of the Trump dossier have proven to be fake-which forget the fake news channels-calls into question the ability of the intelligence agencies.

Asking questions until you get a full answer -good or bad-used to be a good thing.

Someone like susan rice parroting that all 17 agencies agree and the enws media claiming that to be fact-well now thta is fake news. A little digging would have helped. Now even Clapper came out on CNN and claimed it was 4-if he is willing to say that on TV now-they could have asked him then.. It also means susan rice knew and lied about it anyway.

My main thing with these type of articles is that breitbart had 2-3 days, verified it and proved to be false-ina few days. it is not some thing that 2 years later they found. The source magazines/CNN should have spent the extra 2 days that breitbart did to verify their accuracy. But so far they never had to face any consequences for flat out lying.

You can be wrong even after doing your best, but this is just willful.

Fox retracted the story because it was unproven? LOL. You are too funny for words. Fox fucked up plain and simple.

All the news agencies get it wrong once and a while. You only want to see the screw ups and outright propaganda on one side. Yet another acolyte to to the principle of it's true because I believe it should be true.
