I think that Goolag will slip up and then, during the fall, magically come around and realize that being the thought police is contradictory to "do no evil" (wasn't that their original vision?).

Are the two founders even still with the company? I have respect for them, but not the current CEO.

The problem is that Google has elected itself as the governing body of what may be said and who may talk. Google does not have a good history of putting people's rights ahead of Google's self-interests. And the DNS system is not like a forum or website. If people are kicked off the DNS system, they have no alternative. This also threatens the DNS system itself by motivating people to create an entirely separate system, and the last thing the Internet needs are two or more incompatible DNS systems. That would completely destroy the effectiveness of DNS.
