As soon as the audio was patched through, the Pilot was talking shit to the Copilot about Truman's daughter Margret. Truman called the pilot a no good son of a bitch and said he would pop him one if he ever saw him face to face. All live on the air. My Dad who was a Merchant seaman at the time, heard it himself when it happened.
