The technology behind targeted genetic cancer therapy has been around for 25 years or more. But due to these financial considerations, it’s been unavailable to the public.
I studied Biochemistry in college and my professors were speculating that genetic therapies would be forthcoming shortly.

To give an example of how very simple this can be, here’s the technique broken down:
1)harvest cancer cells from patient.
2)inject cancer cells into sheep over a period of time. Three weeks later, drain a quantity of blood from the sheep and put it through a centrifuge, where you separate out the antibodies from the other blood parts.
3)inject solution of sheep antibodies into patient
4)antibodies are protein specific to bind to cancer cells of patient, and mark them for destruction by patient’s immune system.
5)cancer cells die, patient lives.

See how easy?
Think about all the people who’ve got cancer and died in the past couple of decades, and then realize that blame can be laid squarely on our elites who made it possible.

I assure you it's not that easy. Many cancers secrete enzymes to prevent antibody production. That's why many therapies try to increase immune system activity and AB production. Also AB are not always targeted and that's why immune therapies can have dramatic side effects incl. sudden death. I agree they are part of a better future and will thrive but I am questioning the active hindrance of the health care industry to such therapies. If you patented a cure that would only be consistently 25% better in CRs with similar safety profile you stand to make large amounts of money regardless and you will crush the competition and they can't do anything about it. As we live longer we will never run out of patients.

And Elon Musk is worried about the AI alignment problem.

Healthcare is crazy because our government (lobby controlled), insurance industry, and depraved legal system make it crazy. Nobody wants to un-crazy it because of their diverse economic conflicts of interest.

Be careful when you use your Obamacare.

Medical Errors Are No. 3 Cause Of U.S Deaths, Researchers Say.

...."Based on an analysis of prior research, the Johns Hopkins study estimates that more than 250,000 Americans die each year from medical errors. On the CDC's official list, that would rank just behind heart disease and cancer, which each took about 600,000 lives in 2014, and in front of respiratory disease, which caused about 150,000 deaths.

But no one knows the exact toll taken by medical errors. In significant part, that's because the coding system used by CDC to record death certificate data doesn't capture things like communication breakdowns, diagnostic errors and poor judgment that cost lives, the study says."
