No, he is a subject of the investigation, but not the target. This should give him a little but not much comfort. It is very questionable if he can be indicted and therefore technically would not be the target. As Gowdey Doodie said, "if you are innocent act like it." Did Trump commit crimes? Almost certainly he has obstructed justice in the incredibly idiotic way he has resisted the investigation, other than that with "Trump and this Russia thing" it's a question. In his business dealings almost certainly he is totally crooked, Mueller may not and probably should not go there, but the New York Attorney General will likely go after him when he leaves office.
