Yah low hanging fruit. It’s hard to think of killing a giraffe, especially a rare one. They’re such gentle and beautiful creatures. I would never kill one for sport. If I wanted sport hunt in Africa I would kill a bull hippo or a Cape buffalo. Those are deadly animals which also aren’t that cute.
Ok, so you cannot find someone who would be happier to see animals in Africa thrive, and in the US I would love to see bison restored to their original range and also was very happy to see wolves reintroduced.
But the leftist Hollywood morons commenting on the twitter account are the same boobs that would scream bloody murder at the limited hunting licenses issued to manage animals in the US that are overpopulated...particularly deer, rabbits, elk, and some bear and cougar populations. Civilization has no choice but to encroach and when it does, some animal populations must be managed in an environmentally moral manner by humans. The dummies in Hollywood wouldn't be able to figure this out in any circumstance. The giraffe was just low hanging fruit for them.
