MJ will be probably go back to being illegal publishable by death penalty before the end of our life time.
The leading calls will come from the first states that voted for it. Not the Bible Belt Preachers.

When the Medical benefits are gone because the scammers dropped that pretense. They wont be able to defend the accidental death and destruction caused by Stone Millennials who are total fuck ups when they are sober. Much less stoned.

Wait until the Governor of one of these States Child get's T-Boned by a Stoned Driver and kills his only Son.

First of all, there is no objective test out there that can determine if someone is stoned at the time of accident. Second, who the fuck wants to race around when they're high!? People that are high eat, talk, stare, listen to music, watch movies, fuck, hang out, and eat some more. No one, and I mean NO ONE thinks getting super high then driving your car is fun.

While lack of recreational legalization certainly created a lot of "medical" stoners, the worst thing prohibition has done is making cannabis a big cash crop. So it makes sense that legalization smacks strongly of greed, it's been an underlying current in most "medical" dispensaries in San Diego for a long time. Couple that with unnecessary regulations, and it's easy to see how medical is being squeezed out.

On the bright side, it's super easy to grow, and I'd encourage everyone to grow their own. That way you know what's in it. Infusing it into butter or oil is also super easy, which means there's no end to the ways you can ingest it.

I've known quite a few people who smoke weed and drive. Plenty do it. Just watch Live PD.

Reefer Madness! All stoners are FUCKING BRAINDEAD LOSER FUCKUPS out to KILL everyone!

Totally makes sense.

There's way too many stupid people who shouldn't smoke it but do.
It only makes their lives and those around them worse. Like jumping out of a car and dancing to a Drake song because they saw it on a YouTube video.

I’m pretty sure that if this statement was even a little less true, pizza delivery drivers everywhere would be looking for different jobs. When you’re high, driving anywhere sounds like a LOT of work you’ll never get around to doing. Couch lock is real.
9   Ceffer   2018 Jul 31, 4:25pm

Why do cops eat so many donuts all the time if they aren't stoned?

The problem for Berkovitz is that he’s only medically licensed. This means recreational dispensaries can’t carry his exacts. Legally, they can only sell products from companies with an OLCC license. Since issuing almost 1,900 licenses, the OLCC has paused on accepting new applications until further notice.

Limits on THC – a powerful active ingredient in cannabis products – are also an issue, according to Berkovitz. With the dawn of recreational dispensaries, the Oregon Health Authority began regulating THC content. A medical edible, typically in the form of a sweet treat, is now capped at 100mg THC, which Berkovitz says is not enough for a really sick person.

“If you need two 3000mg a day orally and you’re capped at a 100mg candy bar, that means you need 20 candy bars, which cost $20 a pop,” he said. “So you’re spending $400 a day to eat 20 candy bars.”

This reeks, but of bullshit. First of all, recreational and medical is the same stuff. It's all weed.

Secondly, nobody needs 3000mg a day. That is completely insane. 10mg is plenty for normal people at one time. 3000mg is 300x as much, like having 300 drinks. I'm pretty sure weed is safe, but Jesus, at that level I don't know what would happen. Does anyone really do that?
11   Ceffer   2018 Jul 31, 5:56pm

It's BS. In Santa Cruz, the place is inundated with all the dope you could want.

My friend had a vial of oil, I took a whiff and the stuff nearly knocked me on my heels it was so strong. I won't be sniffing that again.

They are giving it to veterans for free. The guy in OP is whinging because his niche got challenged.

Something similar to taking sleeping and laxative pills at the same time?

I don't, but I do know plenty of people who drink and drive. In both cases, you don't have to cause an accident unless you are super drunk or super high. The decision to still drive at that point has nothing to do with the inebriating substance, and everything to do with you being an idiot.

Yes, but I'd argue standards for medical cannabis should be higher, like only organic. Also, you can breed strains that are more focused toward certain conditions. There are a shit-ton of cannibinoids that all do different things, and we haven't done nearly enough research on how to most effectively use them.

I agree, but lets not pretend people don't do it. Many of them are busy puffing away while they drive. Just like the morons who drink beer while driving.

I never pretended, I just pointed out it's not a of getting stoned. Assuming that legalization leads to accidents is like assuming legalized assault rifles lead to mass killings. Or free money leads to less poverty. Or banning soda leads to weight loss.

It was cheaper and easier when it was illegal. Plus I liked my Weedman.
He was a guy that got his connect, and had good stuff or he didn't. He didn't Lobby the State to sanction him before it was even voted on to be one of the exclusive sellers but make it illegal if not damn near impossible for everyone else to open a dispensary. Like the Scumbag Creeps in Florida are doing as we speak.

These Greedy Bastards want $150 where I was only paying $50 to a person I actually liked and admired.

Fuck Legal Pot keep it on the down low and if you're an uncool loud ass shit that gets busted because you ain't got sense God gave Goat Shit then you deserve to go to Jail.

None whatsoever. Cannabis improves vision and reflex, extends life, cures Alzheimer's, revokes the need for vitamins, improves relationships, prevents all cancers, enhances the health of newborns, lowers taxes, and mops and washes your floors.

It is a miracle drug, a miracle I say.

Just typical conservative demonization of a God given boon, in order to frustrate the happiness of the masses.

Not if you're selling wholesale. What I used to get $2,000 for a few years back now goes for half that. But somehow the dispensary prices are still the same...
