Under future more sane U.S. governments, just think of all the money that will be spend on Asbestos abatement. Then again, maybe we're slowly becoming China or Russia, and we won't ever again care so much about protecting the people from dangerous substances.

My Roofer was telling me about Asbestos, and Mold. When the insurance companies paid for the removal it was the biggest money maker of any Insurance Restoration businesses. But they soon stopped. When the insurance companies stopped paying for it, people just spayed Kilz over it and went on their way.
Old Asbestos Membrane under a tile roof used to shut down a project and a hazmat team had to come in to do the old membrane ripout. Insurance stopped paying that, now the roofers just shovel it off and throw it off the roof into the dumpster.

The Insurance Scams follows California's predatory laws. The same nonsense that gives you plastic Gas Cans that you can't get gas out of without getting it all over yourself as you hold this, and pull that, and tilt the other thing... But hey they are leak proof and will save everyone but the guy pouring it into his lawn mower.

"Instead of the steel girders of the towers lasting up to four hours before melting, the steel frames of One World Trade Center lasted only one hour and forty minutes, while the steel frames of Two World Trade Center lasted just 56 minutes before collapsing."

Asbestos could have stopped the twin towers from melting on 911
