In a research poll of 1,614 North American employees, we found that access to natural light and views of the outdoors are the number one attribute of the workplace environment, outranking stalwarts like onsite cafeterias, fitness centers, and premium perks including on-site childcare (only 4-8% of FORTUNE 100 companies offer on-site child care).

The study also found that the absence of natural light and outdoor views hurts the employee experience. Over a third of employees feel that they don’t get enough natural light in their workspace. 47% of employees admit they feel tired or very tired from the absence of natural light or a window at their office, and 43% report feeling gloomy because of the lack of light.

Those daylight light bulbs work wonders too.

I figured it would be seductively dressed office women. Who would have thought it would be light?

I guess lighting makes all the difference though in showing those "features" on hot office women. So maybe I agree now.

What no Budweiser or Coors?

Don't take offense, but pick better beers. Busch?

I work outdoors so all the natural light in the world is mine!

PBR FTW

PBR is fine by me. Coors tastes like carbonated water with rubbing alcohol added to it. I have to keep my manly figure, so I'm cool with Bud Light, but no Diesel for me.

It just came to me. We have the what are you listening to thread, let's get the what are you drinking thread going. Starting it now.

Wholeheartedly agree. I much prefer working from my home office (big windows and lots of sunlight) than at my two on-the-job tomb like florescent lit offices.

Am I the only one who likes darkness?

In CA, sure. Most other regions, fuck that noise.

PBR was pretty good when I was in Minnesota. Tastes awful everywhere else. I presume sometimes it matters how close you are to the brewery. In Colorado, Coors was quite good. I have an A-B brewery nearby now, and around here the A-B brands are all good.

???? In most parts of the country, outdoors is great during Spring and Fall, and only really bad for a part of Summer and Winter.

Cleavage. Lots of wobbly cleavage that doesn't sue.

I prefer no indoor lights, but definitely appreciate sitting by a window.
