When the biologist Daniel Lieberman suggested in a public lecture at Harvard this past February that exercise for everyone should be mandated by law, the audience applauded, the Harvard Gazette reported. A room full of thin affluent people applauding the idea of forcing fatties, many of whom are dark, poor and exhausted, to exercise appalls me.
many of whom are dark, poor and exhausted,
FOUR out of five black women are seriously overweight. One out of four middle-aged black women has diabetes. And its YOUR FAULT!
Do whatever you want. Be a fat slob, I could care less. Why does the taxpayer have to take care of you though? Oh well, deficits don't matter and all.
I read, in Africa, being heavy is a sign of prosperity.

OK, less food stamps would work.

I read, in Africa, being heavy is a sign of prosperity. It makes sense to me. When most people are skin and bones because there is not enough to eat, a heavy person must be very wealthy. The fat people in America have too much money, or too many food stamps to buy food.
1)dark...really? Tell me why skin color matters for weight again. Make a scientific argument. I dare you!
The only point this article makes that is in any way valid is the point that black culture values a more rounded shape to a woman’s thighs and ass. It's a race AND sex associated deleterious behavior, for which society pays the price. For example, imagine if all white men were on opioids.
Guess what? A lot of white guys like that too.
