BREAKING NEWS: Over 5,000 migrants and more every day in Tijuana!
Going back to November 24, CNN wasn’t running any stories on the South American migrants. Now that things have escalated on the Southern border, every outlet is all over this story with their particular spin.
The last time CNN reported on the migrant caravan was on Oct 22, 2018, when the caravan was headed for “Tapachula,” about 23 miles north of the Mexico-Guatemala border.
Obama and CNN said the caravan was nothing to worry about, but is that true?
Seriously, after WWI, Armenians, who'd lost up to 1.5 million due to a genocide by the Ottomans, were stuck in neighboring countries like Syria, until they could get passage to places in the British Empire like India, nevermind Britain or Canada.
Today, all of these migrants are ALREADY in MEXICO and out of Honduras.
Remember folks, Refugees have to go to the first safe (not at war, not experiencing the immediate aftershock of natural disaster) country according to International Law.
The Honduran Refugees have been in at least two or three by the time they get to the border.
Also why TIjuana and not Brownsville, much closer?
Asylum seekers apply at Embassies and Consulates. I'm sure there is one in the DF and would be surprised if there wasn't one in Tijuana itself. Not to mention in Honduras, Guatemala, etc.
