Jill Abramson, the former executive editor of the far-left New York Times is accusing the Times of being a gang of money-hungry hacks who have sold their souls to the anti-Trump Resistance.

Howard Kurtz at Fox News reports that in her upcoming book, Merchants of Truth, Abramson blasts away at her successor, Dean Baquet.

“Though Baquet said publicly he didn’t want the Times to be the opposition party, his news pages were unmistakably anti-Trump,” Abramson writes. “Some headlines contained raw opinion, as did some of the stories that were labeled as news analysis.”

It is correct the the NYTimes has severe TDS.

What was not mentioned in the article is the Times is strongly influenced by its savior: Carlos Slim, a mega rich Mexican billionaire.

He bailed out the NYTimes with a $250 million loan at high interest. He is today a major shareholder.

Guess what a Mexican robber baron thinks about Donald Trump stopping illegal alien invaders and drugs from Mexico?

The NYTimes, like other famous brands, was going out of business yet the cache and name recognition saved them as a foreigner stepped in with the money to save them.

Long ago the Times was a rag, now it's even obvious to the former editor.

Carlos Slim, a mega rich Mexican billionaire

I've heard he got his millions off the illegal drug trade.

narcopoliticoCarlos Slim, the Mexican billionaire whose $250 million cash infusion bailed the New York Times out of a tight cash crunch last week, has long-standing business ties with wealthy Mexican businessmen suspected of involvement in Mexico's so-called “Cartel of the Southeast,” the drug trafficking organization (DTO) based in Cancun which came to light two years ago with the crash on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula of an American-registered (N987SA) Gulfstream jet carrying nearly four tons of cocaine.
