Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Thursday it signed a settlement agreement with the State of California and the County of Los Angeles to remove inactive voters from their voter registration rolls.
Judicial Watch reports that as many as 1.5 million inactive registered voters many be invalid.
Judicial Watch began the daunting task of cleaning up California’s voter rolls back in 2017 when they filed a federal lawsuit because California has a registration rate of 101% of its age-eligble citizenry.
