Doesn't include foundation, guessing no plumbing included either. So it's the structure itself, but nothing else.

dream of tiny house living

Is this a thing now? Sounds like something up there with "desire for lice infestation" or "fantasies of dumpster diving"...

What's considered normal in today's society is incredibly stressful and abnormal. Minimalist living makes people happier because it gets rid of a ton of stress. That's the real dream accomplished by a tiny house.

Does it come with a "Convince the Zoning Board" guarantee?

This would be cool if you had a large lot and could make a little quite retreat/guest house

The state of California now mandates zoning approval for ADUs (granny units) in all California municipalities.

And you don’t need a large lot.

This kinda stuff has been available for years. I am sure your local "yard barn" builder can do the same.

Plus the Millennials are adopting them because the Millennials are poor and broke. It beats living in mom's basement at age 32.

Living in cramped conditions is the most stressful situation there is, imo. (Speaking from experience of living in small apartments for the part of my life.) People do not get happier squeezed into small spaces, where is this fallacy is coming from?

I got a feeling that's not for use as a primary residence. Looks like it requires a normal SFH Ticky-Tack-Shack on the property as well.

Now, what about people who live in Maine, Texas, Mississippi or Alabama, who don't enjoy 70 degrees with little humidity year round?

YUP:
The unit is not intended for sale separate from the primary residence and may be rented.
 The lot is zoned for single-family or multifamily use and contains an existing, single-family dwelling.
 The unit is either attached to an existing dwelling or located within the living area of the existing dwelling or
detached and on the same lot.
