Veteran MD Drops Bombshell About 5G Technology Dangers At 5G Hearing

Dr. Sharon Goldberg, an internal medicine physician & professor gives her testimony regarding 5g technology dangers specifically involving electromagnetic radiation. She says: "Wireless radiation has biological effects. Period."

She also links cases of diabetes to EMF radiation, but doesn't have time to go into all the effects of this hazardous technology, but urges congress to do more studies on 5G before approving of this, calling it "irresponsible".

I use to do a lot of rf work and totally agree with her. There has also been studies some very old about rf causing damage to the blood brain barrier. Many studies on emf effecting all sorts of animals.

Cell signals are all over. Its not easy to avoid. Does anybody know if metallic coated outfit help avoid RF radiation or any other easy mechanism to minimize the RF effects.

The "mechanism" you're looking for is called "Faraday cage". Look it up.

Basic physics explains the greenhouse effect, yet shitloads of people refuse to believe in global warming.

Basic physics also explains that electromagnetic waves with frequencies below 100GHz are not ionizing (cannot knock electrons lose from an atom or molecule or break chemical bonds, which is what causes DNA changes and cancer). All they can do is heat up your skin by some small amount. 5G is in the 800MHz-2300MHz range, some plans for 4-5000MHz and maybe 27000 MHz (27GHz) for backhaul (already in use for radar and radio links, BTW). So 5G is just heat, not ionizing. Nothing to be afraid of. Yet millions of people believe that cellphones and celltowers are dangerous, and refuse to accept simple physics.

Sunshine is massively more dangerous than cellphones or cell towers of any sort (including 5G ones). It contains all kinds of nasty super-high frequencies. It will heat you, burn you, mutate your cells, and give you skin cancer.

Are we simplifying slightly? maybe?
For example: what about photovoltaic effect? Knocking electrons with light frequencies?
Also when you say "just heat"... "Just heat" is enough to cook a steak. That's a chemical change involving a bunch of chemical bonds.
A microwave oven uses frequencies around 2,450 MHz and, like other heat sources, it DOES cause some chemical changes. That's why it works.
So it is a matter of power, but less power just means less changes statistically... A given molecule - like a DNA molecule - may happen to be hit the wrong way and change as a result.

Not saying 5G has an effect... but it doesn't appear to be an easy conclusion.

Actually the way it heats is that the microwaves cause a resonance in hydrogen covalent bonds, causing them to vibrate in and out of energy states which causes thermal energy gain.
That’s why hydrogen-rich items heat fastest in a microwave. Like soup. But if you try to heat a gallon of soup in a large bowl, only the outside inch or so of the soup gets hot and must then transmit that heat through convection to the cold interior of the soup.
Or try it with a big bowl of mashed potatoes.

This is why you can heat a steel container in the microwave for a long time without it gaining any heat. No hydrogen bonds to speak of in the steel!

Well, the microwave transmits thermal energy to the steak which in turn, cooks the steak. The steak cooks from the thermal energy. It's not directly causing a chemical reaction. If you blasted the steak with individual microwave photons, there would be no chemical reaction.

I'll give you some homework,since I think you will appreciate the physics better if you go through the math yourself.

1. What is the frequency of UV light needed for the photoelectric effect? How much higher is the frequency of UV light than the frequency of cellphone signals? Do cellphones emit UV light? Does the sun emit UV light? Is it now clear why sunlight is dangerous and cellphone signals are not?

2. Heating: What temperature is needed to break chemical bonds? What steady-state temperature will be reached in 1 liter of water (10cm cube) at 20C ambient if the water is subjected to 100mW (milliWatt) of heat? What does the answer (temperature) tell you about whether cellphone can cause overheating of your head or body? What would you rather do, use a cellphone all day all week, or sit once in a Sauna for 10min?

Hopefully, when you have answered these questions, you will understand better.

The new tech is apparently gong to track your phone position in real-time, and used phased arrays to send signals directly. This will require millions of antennae in cities. Will the signal strength be significant enough to be dangerous? I have radio waves (AM and FM) around me constantly, but I don't think they are detrimental.

So, no big deal. If it's just city folk getting brain cancer and going crazy, how will we know?

yet visible light below UV is not ionizing radiation either. Yet does it not create a photovoltaic effect? Photons hitting atoms excite electrons to higher energy bands where some other effect happens. The point is it doesn't need to be ionizing radiation to even extract electrons.

It depends on the chemical bond and possible reactions. Many chemical reactions just happen more slowly at lower temperatures.

But we are not talking of heating up an entire body of matter. Some molecules may have resonance with specific frequencies. So while the overall temperature impact on the body is close to 0, the impact on 1 molecule could be higher, and maybe enough to alter it.

I am not too worried about all the EMF/waves around us...yet. But I still play it safe, put the phone far away from my brain when I sleep. I used to work with EE's that were convinced there is evidence of higher brain cancer rate amongst those working around high power EMF exposure.
So tin foil hatter were right afterall.

“A wireless smart meter produces radiofrequency microwave radiation with two antennas in approximately the same frequency range (900 MHz to 2.4 GHz) as a typical cell tower. But, depending on how close it is to occupied space within a home, a smart meter can cause much higher RF exposures than cell towers commonly do.
