This is great, one full week and no contact at all from this rented 'friend'.

I think rentafriend is good. It's a way to meet up in the city, have a great meal at a top restaurant, but then, go up to Montreal on weekends and poke hoes. I'm now a straight guy in Boston, as oppose to a socially gay one.

I think you need to watch some olde world British shows, as in the movie, 'The Imitation Game', where Alan Turing, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, was forced into hiding his homosexuality from public view, by keeping Keira Knightly around as a bread.

Use the principle above but legalize homosexuality with the notion of openness only being cool at university campuses (esp Wellesley or Harvard), San Francisco, Boston's South End, Provincetown MA, etc.
