I think it's because leftists have no sense of humor.

They're all about resentment, and resentment just isn't funny.

I think it has something to do w the coddling of the left vs the constant oppression of communication anyone who opposes the establishment. This has pushed the non-#woke crowd into more sophisticated communication . It has forced the anti-establishment to reject less effective forms of communication, especially violent / racist/ team-centric types.

The anti-establishment is better because they have to be, and the world is starting to notice.

Wow did you prove his point!

I'm assuming all of those memes were to provide the OP's point, because they were terrible. I've said this before on this site, in agreement with the guy in the video, that the Left has such a lame sense of humor.

I don't know how to describe it but call it a negative sense of humor. Dark. A majority almost always include a picture of Trump or his family. Yes the words on a meme matter, but the picture does a lot of talking too and I think that's what the left misses. The humor is negative and the picture does nothing to create a narrative in the mind. You can't just take a goofy looking Trump photo and say the country would be great if his supporters left. There's nothing funny there.

The left doesn't totally miss on these all the time, but the OP and the video are still valid even if you're batting .285 #fail

The problem is there is nothing there. You can't take a hot picture of Melania and say she's a tranny. But you can with a picture of Michelle Obama with a big man bulge in her groin area in her dress.

There was great Bush meme fodder, because the Left had the moral high road. Memes lend themselves to the moral highroad of the argument.

Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert made their careers memeing on Bush. Colbert killed his, trying to meme on Trump, where there was no meme material there.

Satan can't meme.

So going forward, to figure out which side of the argument you should be on, to be on the side of History. Try to meme both sides of the argument. The one that makes sense is the right side of the argument.

Not a one was even mildly humorous or shareable unless you’re a self-loathing butt hurt Leftist creep. Thanks for proving the OP correct!

Memes: how to use children book images to communicate ideas to people who can't focus long enough to read a paragraph.

So what is the difference between a meme and a political cartoon?

A political cartoon usually doesn't try to say anything deep.

A political cartoon usually doesn't try to say anything deep.

That depends on the cartoon and the wit of the author.
