Not that it's that much better, but to me it sounds like a 16 yr old:
"have 1st today" obviously refers to the "lesson". "She" and "a teacher" suggests a singular girl.
I can't explain why the "2 x 8" instead of just saying 16, but sometimes people talk in weird ways to poke fun of a previous incident or w/e. Talking in code between friends is common. Maybe in other contexts, such as talking in front of others, they avoid saying "16", "15" etc... by saying "32 / 2" or "10 + 5", and he's keeping the jab up in the messages for fun.
But who knows ... it's not like this guy doesn't have a record of precedent.
