Marty Davis lays it out for you: Why the tariffs are necessary and why China must be brought to bare on the trade issue, despite the misgivings and short term interests of Wall Street. He goes into past policies of previous administrations and their unwillingness to put America first and serve the long term interests of this country.
I wonder how long until the demling candidates are forced into answering the question: "if you get elected as president, what will you do about trade with china?"
Tough to answer for them.
If they say "nothing, fuck trump", many Americans will be disappointed because people aren't stupid, and know the Chinese aren't our friends. If they say "yes, pursue trade reform" then they admit the problem exists, and these soft bellied demlings aren't likely to be viewed as a better negotiator.
They will be further pressed on answering if they would continue tarrifs, or another strategy. But, they won't come up with a better strategy than tarrifs. Maybe Beta will start talking fucking spanish again at that point to evade the question.
