Because Trump's approval rating is so high, there's no reason to bother and it saves 6 or 7 figures that can be used against the Socialist Assault.

After listening to Trump rant about how the Dems rigged the system for Hillary this can now be said with a straight face? Remember Sanders had less than 10% support when he began and came close to the nomination. Fact is Trump is trying to do the same thing (only worse) he thought was so terrible (and it was) when the Dems did it. But the cult must preserve unity. Fuck any semblance of democracy if you are a Republican.

We get it you don't like Trump but even you must admit there's no alternative except for maybe Tulsi and she will never be permitted to run by the leftoid politbureau.

No alternative, Ha Ha. Hell I would vote for you over Trump. In case you haven't been watching him he is completely nuts, and getting worse.

Alright I'm honored but would you prefer one of the far left cultural Marxists nutcases? Come on, if you're anything but a cultural Marxist Trump must be closer to you than any of the Dems. I would have even considered Schultz as a worthy contender though I prefer Tulsi. Ok so tell me who are you going to support then if your only choice is the current Dem candidates and Trump?

This. Sure Trump is crazy, but the things he's pushing are generally good for everyone I know (middle, upper middle class people - and yes, rich people too). The only people I know out of work are doing so voluntarily. This was not the case under Obama (and yes, Bush handed him a shit pie, BUT he barely got it turned around in 8 years and it was very lethargic at that).

Taxing more and handing it out to people that are lazy or here illegally from the get go is awful policy. This is what Democrats are pumping, there's no argument about this to be had. Anyone supporting these policies is either a pure lazy bastard, here illegally or simply doesn't understand economics.

But I know what the real answer is. Democrats and the left are butt hurt over being 100% WRONG on almost all the shit flung at Trump. You can't fail on all your accusations of Trump (and company) and then be upset because he might stretch the truth. You are actually in the wrong in this case. But it's okay to be wrong and change viewpoints. It's okay to think Trump is a dumbass but still understand he not doing anything that's hurting you as of yet in his first term, which is almost complete. Nothing that was predicted by the naysayers has occurred. Nothing.

It's time to start adulting better and just realize that you were fed a pile of shit about what was going to happen when Trump won. It's okay to admit you were wrong. I personally won't rub it in anyone's face.

Hahahahahah!

What is even BETTER, it frees up GOP voters to vote in DEMOCRAT primaries!

Imagine if they all voted for Maryanne!

I’ve already registered as a Democrat in California and i will definitely be voting in the Dem primary. Probably for the biggest spoiler I can.

Easy, there was no incumbent for either party in 2016. Trump is the incumbent for 2020 and it makes zero sense for the Republicans to bring a primary challenger. This is not a difficult concept to understand. It's common sense and keeps the party unified behind a President that has for sure ruffled some feathers, but seemingly has done well to the average American. Contesting a popular incumbent is retardation and would trash the party. I guess I'd ask this, who legitimately challenged Obama in '12? If that was rigged then I guess you're right.

Also, Bernie, probably unknowingly, saved the country from Hillary and likely multiple wars. So I do thank Bernie for that. If you like senseless wars then I guess I understand why you might not like Trump. If you like to give pallets of cash to foreign adversaries then I understand not liking Trump. If you like people here illegally taking jobs and pumping healthcare costs for us all, then I get why you don't like Trump. If you like these policies, then make sure to vote for the Dem. that is pumping these polices. Maybe promote those candidates qualities here on Patnet and try to convince us instead of just bashing the current president. That's not accomplishing anything...

Gosh, the economy continues to do great, and the US hasn't invaded anywhere lately.

All else is noise.

Admittedly. What harm has it done to you or the country though? Some of the best and brightest people are some crazy motherfuckers. I'll ask this, do you think Hillary is/was a sane, fully functioning human? I'd say no. Choices were limited in '16 and to date I've taken very little issue with the person elected even though I didn't vote for President on the ballot in '16.

I'll take tall tales and fluffing all day versus what likely would have been multiple conflicts around the globe. You don't have to like Trump ever, but the numbers are in his favor. I'm still hesitant to judge the tax cuts until 2019 taxes get filed and we see the full, true revenue from a full year of it being implemented.

If you get past all the nonsensical SJW stuff, he's actually been a decent President as far as I see it. I understand his personality may rub some people the wrong way, but ultimately that's your perception of a person you actually know nothing about. Those issues are your own internal ones that need to be figured out. I for certain can say Trump has never personally attacked you.

If the California Dem Primary allows write-ins, I wonder if some will put "Trump."

I’m waiting to see which two or three candidates wind up close to a win and then vote for the biggest idiot who will be easiest for Trump to beat.

True but you want them to make life and death decisions...for the world?

As to the Dems none of the Trump devotees are going vote for any Dem or for that matter any Republican. I dont think it helps Trump to piss off any Republicans by pulling the caucus and primaries though he probably believes it does. He can not afford to lose any Republican votes. If the polls are to be believed, which none of the devotees do, the number of voters who say they will never vote for Trump hovers in the low 50%. The only thing that might save him is a Hillary type candidate that people hate or can be made to hate. Otherwise he is toast.

What choice do we have? Seriously? There's not one person I want making these decisions that is running. Not one. Including Trump.

There's no perfect candidate (and I'm not saying you're saying that). There are perfectly normal people from an outsiders perspective, but they could be fucking nuts. You wouldn't know until we nuked Russia or China though.

The fact Trump is seemingly a nut bag and has caused no harm to us over close to 3 years does mean something. You don't have to like him, but previous presidents have done FAR worse damage than this one. This is indisputable on a policy level. Emotionally, fine, get worked up. But that's not what matters.
