I love it, my buddy was sure Bolton was going to lead us to War, and Trump was a war monger for picking him.

Now, Bolton is damaged goods. He's been rendered defunct for that job. Nobody will ever pick him for it again.
Trump is forced to use the Swamp critters, the Establishment will allow him to use. All of Trump's main choices ends up in Humpty Dumpty's cross hairs, for one of his fat fingered Congressional Hearings.

Nadler will subpoena Bolton any minute now. To try to dig up dirt. Of course anything Bolton would have to say should all be 100% Classified. So none of it could be used for T.V. and public opinion. So Humpty Dumpty probably wont get it. But it wont stop him from the fool's errand.

Also this sorry shit wasn't invited to the Taliban meeting that never took place. Because he's a Rat and Swamp plant, only sent there to make sure Trump failed.
He was supposed to drag us into So many wars, Endless conflicts, that would have made all of Bush's war's unpopularity look like he got a signed permission slip from every American. In comparison.

Oh - FFS.

I think there is a pretty big fat line between a total neocon war monger and total pacifist McGovern type isolationist. Let alone accusing Bolton of being a "Rat and Swamp Plant".

Bolton is a good man and is more right than he is wrong through the years. I don't recall a single report of Bolton backstabbing Trump or leaking shit to the press like his predecessors did.

Are you pining for the days when we had Obama's foreign policy team bending over backwards to appease and apologize to the Iranians, Palestinians, Cubans, Chinese and Russians?

Bolton threw Trump under the bus over every bit of diplomacy Trump took.
Met with Putin, he talked shit with his Ball Tickler Mustache
Met with Kimfuck again he talked shit and leaked to the press
Trump met with EU trash and didn't kiss their ass, again Bolton bitched like a bitch about it.

Mitt Romney is fucking crying over Trump throwing this useless piss stain out.
We got fucking Mitt Romney over here crying like his dude died in the war, and he's been left alone while pregnant to be a single Mom.

Continual nipple pinching, in spite of numerous warnings from HR, proved to be his undoing.

There's a big difference between being an asslicker like Obummer was and a non-interventionist like Trump. Obummer intervened, but for the wrong people, he basically betrayed his country. Bolton wants to go to war with everybody and spend like a drunken sailor and worse unnecessarily put US ground troops in harms way in countries where there's no upside and nothing to grab or gain. The best strategy is to never intervene unless there's massive gains to be made and instead - if ever necessary - carpet bomb asshole countries into submission until their own populace overthrows their asshole leaders. Like they did in Iraq with Shock and Awe, until Boosh jr. fucked it up. Trump knows this and is right to reign in on idiot warmongers. Good move.

Why hire him at all, when it is a known fact that he is a warmonger?

Politics is never easy, and it's Trump against the swamp. A lot of it is tactics, even though leftoids seem to think Trump is a retard. You don't need to be well or soft spoken or highly intellectual to exhibit street smarts and a good strategy as a leader.

Trump against the swamp.

Sorry If its believed Trump drained the swamp your definition of swamp doesn't include lobbyists, special interests, grifters and petty corrupt officials as well as a never ending slew of just incompetant idiots of which he has filled his administration. That said, I am glad Bolton is gone. I was shocked Trump hired him because he looks like deputy dog and probably smells like him too.Trump is all about the look of the man and Bolton just doesn't look the part.

He's doing a lot of that by appointing the Swamp. Knowing full well his administration is so far under the microscope. It's the only way he can expose them. By having them come in, run shit like the old Obama days. Then end up in a NYT expose, every blames him as Trump buddy. But Trump just fires them, and calls out NEXT!

The only person in Trump's cabinet that was actually his initial pick. Is Ben Carson. The rest have been dunk tank Clowns Trump set up to fall.

Maybe Trump hired him so he could do the good-cop / bad-cop thing. Otherwise, I think he was just a bully and warmonger. Good riddance.

Pretty clear there was substantial difference on where and when to be aggressive.

Isn't it nice having a government where the advisors give the President different advice and have disagreements, instead of being neoliberal clones? Even if it results in acrimony?

Certainly better than Obama, who studiously ignored Iranian nuclear developments and lying to the IAEA and called off multi-LEO Agency/multi-national task forces cracking down on Hezbollah's drug, car, and cig smuggling in South America so as not to make Iran mad.

It's good news in any case.

Bolton forgot whom he works for; he is there at the whim of the Chief Executive who was elected by millions of people.

The voters may not even know who Bolton was if they didn't see him on TV from time to time before 2016.

Maybe Donald Trump is less capable than others in the area of foreign policy with places like Afghanistan; so what?

The true threat to our National Security is at the southern border and I believe Trump understands this clearly enough.
