And it was inferior to Grow Rooms, which have been around since the 1980s. Yet TedX and Big Tech promoted it ceaselessly. At one point it was compared to Theranos, but for food science.

Here's the story of a Greenhouse/Plant "Veterinarian" who visited the facility when desperately looking for work in the recession, it's a great story:

The project was funded by Epstein money, and Bezos and others looked at it. Yet it germinated seeds less reliably than using a plastic cup, some dirt, and a bit of water and 99 cent Burpee seeds.

Everything that happens at MIT must be great because MIT.

On a philosophical note, this situation arises because schools have become too greedy for money. Instead of being run by autistic faculty who care about their labs and thinking about science, now it is MONEY MONEY MONEY. Schools should not be like that...most research is not that expensive (other than medical and space) and one perform it with modest funds, no need to collect $TRILLION from which 60% goes to support administration.

So NO! Robots wont take over the farms, robots aren't going to flip your eggs, and serve it to you with a surly quip, while the refresh your coffee cup.

Probably wont be banging any T-950's with a Latex cooter anytime soon either.
