An acquaintance's daughter who was paired with a trans-women in her dorm room at a famously liberal institution (whose administration said there's nothing we can do about it) is now back home and attending a local state school.

Talk about a loser hippie park with some sort of Seven Sister (see Smith/Mt Holyoke) or Small Elite (see Amherst/Williams) College delusion that by smoking dope and navel gazing, that a bachelor's degree can be conferred. Too bad Al Gore Jr didn't attend this place because it may have given him the fake grades (letters which say that his work is a 4.0) to get into Harvard Law and then, he can get flunked out by Prof Kingsfield (see John Houseman in 'Paper Chase').

The real craziness is that this progressive college, of course, has a gender inclusive housing option which you have to specifically request so this type of thing won't happen. Of course the trans-woman (who I presume believed in the gender binary) wanted no part the gender inclusive option and instead selected the singe gender, female option. From what I can tell, the non-binary and trans camps are now at war with each other (see Contrapoints gets cancelled).

I don't think we are all under impression that we all must go to a university. Fuck those places. One can learn more by just borrowing books from the library, buying them on amazon, or reading online. Education is just that, hand holding to read a book one can buy themselves perfectly easily. Access to information is not limited anymore. Universities are a dinosaur model that is dying and should die, they aren't solving a problem, and are not good at what they do.

I went to community college for $12/unit, transferred to university later to save money, while working full time. I'm not using anything I learned at school, realized that that information was nice, but completely useless.

If you need a loan for school, you are most likely making wrong choices in your life. And that's that.
