I've heard rumors that Manafort is in Federal prison after losing several court cases. The problem with this "what aboutism" is that as I've written before, the cases are different. There is/was an on going US investigation of Manafort's dealings in Ukraine and other matters. it is not only proper but necessary for foreign countries to cooperate with the Justice department. That was the case with Manafort. That was not the case with Biden(s). In Biden question Trump is/was pushing a foreign government to open an investigation of an American citizen, in this instance his political rival. That is not kosher. If there were violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act or other laws and Justice had started an investigation Trumps intervention would be somewhat similar (aside from Biden being his political rival) that was not the case. Maybe Trump lovers find this distinction too complex? It doesn't fit into a one line sound bite. So this post is probably a waste of time. But 50 k a month for sitting on board of directors so they can use your name and hope for influence is not illegal, maybe it should be but it isn't, what Manafort did by not reporting his income from Ukraine was illegal. He was convicted. Capisce?

One of the things Manafort was accused (convicted?) of was failing to register as a foreign lobbyist. I think it's fair to say that is the only thing Hunter was being paid for.

If that is true, of which there are only conspiracy theories and Trump wet dreams for evidence, then it is it should have been an investigation that originated in the the US. Shall we have the (any) President conducting investigations of his political opponents by using the government of a foreign country? Even the most insane Trump cult members have to see that as not a good idea? Yeah they probably think it fine as long as it helps their leader.. But with Trump's control of the Justice dept, they cant find evidence to pursue said investigation(s) what does that tell you? And what about all of Clinton's crimes why no investigations, you know lock her up? and Obama too, totally corrupt indict them all. They cant even get an indictment against Andrew Mccabe and lost a case against Creg Craig. Of course its the deep state.
