If we go into deep recession, he will lose, but if we keep coasting like we do now he will win no matter who will be his opponent.

Yang is not stupid, he's probably one of the most intelligent candidates though I don't agree at all on his UBI. Klobuchar is half-way intelligent.
Tulsi would be the best the Dems could bring, sure she has been singing the impeachment tune recently though inly partially, but everyone has to play politics at least a little bit.
