No society bettered by legalizing drugs.

Yep, Lisbon is now festooned with drug addicts, just like San Fran.

"It's a success"

Libbies call Seattle and San Fran successes, so there you go.

The backlash against Pharma for Oxycontin is pretty obvious, and they were supposed to be legitimate manufacturers. You will never get a majority to approve of the programmed sacrifice of addict populations. The superstitions of misguided co-dependance are too prevalent.

It's true the best solution would just to give addicts whatever they want whenever they want in reasonably humane, quarantined conditions until they expire. This might also lead to an expansion of the addict population as the drugs become subsidized free shit. There are also all the sociologic issues of what to do with all these addicts, even if you have interned them somewhere for them to use as they please and live out their lives. Should they agree to sterilization in exchange for free drugs and shelter? Do you want kids running around with them? Children make an ideal sympathy handle, not that addicts care a rat's ass about them compared to their drugs.

However, Moms and Dads, brothers and sisters, cousins and uncles, husbands and wives, civil rights co-dependents, all of the various, sundry do-gooders and hope-springs-eternal deluded types, religionists and the non-addicted but drug justifying chippers will all assure that it will never be so simple. Add to that the infinite capacity of addicts to manipulate, lie, and play on the heartstrings of any available source of sympathy, then one might surmise that addictions of all kinds are just the price we pay for being alive and that they represent a near-perfect virus that defeats the psychology of populations in addition to hijacking individuals.

Also, our legal system rewards victimhood. It doesn't matter how often you trumpet the dangers of drugs, everybody who become addicted is now a 'victim' and the legal system looks for ways to cash in and find any source of deep pockets to be at remunerable fault.

You also have to look at the conspiracy theories that the biggest dealers and suppliers are actually our spook agencies, military and corporate Shadow Government. Our government TRAINED many of the para-military cartels. They would never allow a huge profit center to decline by giving the product away. Keeping it illegal goes a long way to keeping it maximally profitable, and allows the State to pursue and imprison the competition through the anti-drug laws.

Yeah, except Malaysia is part of the Emerald Triangle, the largest hub for unlawful narcotics manufacturing in the world.

See Portugal and Netherlands. Both have significantly improved since legalizing drugs. Also Mexican cartels have pretty much stopped producing cannabis. They've been run out of business by California and Colorado.

There's actually a push by the UN to do this very thing. American government media has of course not covered it at all.

I don’t know about that they are improved or what their culture is like. Ours isn’t unified in any way.

We have plenty of addicts in America lining the streets. Last thing we need is more addicts. I think legalizing will bring a catastrophe.

I have heard that the Netherlands is reigning back. When you become a tourist destination for addicts, it doesn't always work out that well. You can also become the Bahamas Port of Call Cartel Shelter for the criminal groups who distribute to countries where it is still illegal. Kinna like California now with the Criminal Amnesty aka Sanctuary State status.

Welcome Criminals of all stripes, and may you sow the addict criminals into the community to rob, mug, home invade, scatter shit and needles, murder, or create vile public nuisance and disease.

Legalization would allow addicts to pursue their addiction to it logical conclusion, instead of clogging our jails as if their addiction is a crime. Their logical conclusion being death.

You really think the War on Us where babies are flash-banged with 3rd degree burns, innocent people are shot dead in their homes, and drug use is more rampant than ever, all because drugs are illegal is making our society paradise on earth?

If you would follow your own thoughts to their logical conclusion it would be Orwell's dystopian future where government runs your life. You don't want that, but you do want to tell people they don't have the right to put something into their own body. Control over our beings is the core of freedom, and you want to give that control to the state.

Fuck, does anyone think anymore, or do we all just fall into our bullshit paradigms, entrenching ourselves in one of two fallacies, all for the purpose of constant infighting so our masters can keep the meat-grinders running at full throttle, turning today's youth, into tomorrow's cannon fodder.

Now look at San Fran and Seattle. Are all those addicts happy with drugs being decriminalized, and protected to the point cops can't pull down their tents, arrest them for illegal fires, etc.?

lolol......as if the cartels only sold drugs. Any market where there is money to be made, the cartels are there...stolen goods, kidnapping, protection rackets, prostitution, arms distribution, gasoline and diesel, highjacked catches from large fishing boats, probably sale of human organs....etc..get real

Next up. Killing all humans will reduce gun crime by 100%!!!
