In the year 2000, NASA did publish information on its Earth Observatory website about the Milankovitch Climate Theory, revealing that the planet is, in fact, changing due to extraneous factors that have absolutely nothing to do with human activity. But, again, this information has yet to go mainstream, some 19 years later, which is why deranged, climate-obsessed leftists have now begun to claim that we really only have 18 months left before the planet dies from an excess of carbon dioxide (CO2).

Yes, but that is not the point of AGW.

If the AGW folks really believed what they spout, they would be eager to work with people who do not believe in AGW but do recognize pollution and resource depletion as serious problems. After all, renewable energy like wind, solar, geo-thermal, and better nuclear power address both pollution and any AGW. However, the most effective approach would be to limit 1st World population to a renewable resource sustainable level. But that last point is the rub. The AGW crowd does not want any solutions other them vote Democrat, and Democrats are also for unfettered illegal immigration. Notice that all proponents of AGW on this blog can be distilled into these two strategies: Always keep the issue to arguing with deniers, and never talk about solutions other than vote Democrat.

" In what obviously came as a shock to many, the Senate recently voted on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) so-called “Green New Deal,” and wouldn’t you know it – not a single member of Congress, including Democrats, voted in favor of it.

With a final vote of 0-57, with all 43 Democrats simply voting “present,” the cow fart-banning, fossil fuel-eradicating, economy-destroying socialist mess was finally put to rest – much to the chagrin of AOC, who almost immediately chastised all of her colleagues for not supporting her pipe dream legislation."

If Global Warming was real, property insurers would have maps and assessments of where flood zones would spread to if the sea level rose a few inches or percipitation increased and be charging homeowners in those areas considerably higher premiums. They would have long since lobbied state regulators to charge these adjustments and areas to avoid would become public knowledge. Banks would begin to require this insurance for new loans made in these future at-risk areas, marking up PITI accordingly.

GW people don't notice the giant fucking sun in the sky that warms planet up, and how we get fucking ice frozen when it doesn't shine overnight.

That was back in March 2019. But Still, didn't make much mainstream press coverage. Funny, right?

Except renewables won't work and are actually worse for the environment. Michael Shellenberger lays it out here: https://quillette.com/2019/02/27/why-renewables-cant-save-the-planet/

Renewables prices will continue to fall, including batteries. All houses & cars will be equipped soon (10-20 yrs). If the worse problem is that the sun doesn't shine all the time everywhere... well, it does shine quite often in the US south. So we can start there.
We may need a bit of nuclear, but how much nuclear fuel is out there? How long would it last if all nations were using it like France?
How long will oil last for that matter?
Anyway we put it, we need as much renewable as we can get. This civilization will not last long without a new energy sourcing.

Except renewables won't work

That will be a gradual process. Some scientist, inventor or company somewhere will improve on renewables, or even invent new techniques to improve sustainability. In the meantime, we just need to keep the 1st world population at a level sustainable by these improvements. This population has stabilized naturally, but so may 1st world governments have the insane idea that population must always grow, and are thus swamping the 1st World countries with 3rd world immigrants.

Batteries, esp high capacity ones, are extremely extremely polluting.

Do not Prius batteries last 10 years in the car? And even at end of life can be recycled. At that is with today's technology. They will be improved.
