$10,000.00? That's only half the rental price of the U-Hauls these days.

First of all, no one should live in the Bay Area, who didn't already grow up or attend college there.

It's a loser, fake society with this wannabe 'Boston of the west coast' mentality but with zero cultural and historical relevancy to make that innuendo.

Many ppl should simply take residence in their former college town: Pittsburgh for CMU, Ann Arbor for Univ of Michigan, Chapel Hill for UNC, etc, etc, and work in Silicon Valley remotely.

At least then, ppl will have their former friends, etc, and be able to live some sort of healthy life despite the long hours telecommuting.

How dare you trample our tender pretenses! Just for that, the RealDoll goes back into shackles!

Or hang themselves. All these college towns and cities are absolute shit that you list (not your fault). If you can telecommute at least go to a US territory. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico or Guam... lol. If you need to be in the lower 48, maybe southern Florida I guess? Never CA. Costa Rica, Panama, Belize, Aruba, Cayman, etc are all viable international options to stay in a similar time zone. Fucking PITtsburg or Ann Arbor? Might as well voluntarily walk into a gas chamber.

The point of the matter is not that Pittsburgh, Chapel Hill, or Ann Arbor are the center of the universe but the fact that most ppl form their social circles, within their college town communities and not in places like Silicon Valley where pretty much, no one knows anyone, outside of work.

And Ann Arbor MI is only an hour from Windsor Ontario, where seeing hoes is legal.

And you can add Burlington Vermont to that college town list as it's one hour from Montreal, the best 1st world hoeing destination in North America.

True that.

But, you overlook the reality that most of them nowadays, come from places even more crowded and miserable. Compared to the concrete canyons of Asia like Shanghai or Mumbai, Silicon Valley is the Wide Open Spaces, at Bargain Prices.
