It is a bit silly that they continue to cling to the vestiges of autocratic rule as a model for government.

speaking of Andrew...how much of a friggin failure do you have to be. You are a member of the Royal Family with inifinite riches...and you have to team up with a pedo to get laid.

Is the Royal family that rich anymore? Thought I read some articles (maybe during the great recession) that finances weren't as good as people thought. Obviously they have enormous assets. But you can't borrow against those without having the income. Might look into this later.

Queen Elizabeth is worth est $20 billion US dollars. She didn’t have to pay taxes until a few years ago. She is literally a welfare queen

lol. I did know they were wealthy in assets. I just don't know what income they bring in. Recall reading a story where it cost a fortune just to keep their physical assets maintained. Then you have to maintain the people assets of the whole thing. As silly as it sounds $20 billion can get burned rather quickly if you're burning $5M a month and no income. They don't fly Southwest or stay at the Hampton Inn when they travel.

Her castles are maintained by the British government i.e. The royals get free rent

I could be way off, but it my understanding that England made a deal w the devil years ago, wherein the crown still "owns" their property but all revenues go to the state. This was probably strategic so the royal family wouldnt lose their heads.

Therefore the queen and royal family are extremely expensive public pets, who live the most lavish lifestyle possible.

No idea what cash goes into their pockets though

There is actually a website in the UK dedicated to abolishing the monarchy

They bring in tons of revenue via tourism.

Same boat. I may research it a bit, but not sure it's worth the time. Even without knowing anything about the situation it seems.... well, like a stupid situation. I'd be pretty pissed if we were still paying George Washington's family and property expenses (not including non-occupied historical sites).

Without the perverted and genetically involuted Royals frolicking in ermine, England would dissolve. It might even become Muslim.

Hmm, I guess it already IS Muslim. Time for Ayatollahs, not ChristianFuck Royal Cultural Senility.

The Queen brings in substantial revenue via "queening", or sitting on rich men's faces and farting. Only the elite partake in such rituals.
13   theoakman   2019 Nov 25, 7:54pm

I don't care how much money they do or don't bring in. You live in a castle...and you can't fucking get laid. What a loser.

It's all Lord Porchester's fault for knocking up the Queen with Andrew while Philip was cavorting elsewhere. They must have gotten into a lather watching the Queen's horses being studded, lashed each other with riding crops, and did the dirty deed in the haystacks.

The royal family has quite the income. Prince Andrew lost quite a chunk when he resigned his Royal Duties:

Andrew will be stripped of his Palace office and his approximately $300,000 annual salary...

He'll be selling underwater real estate in Florida on midnite TV while sitting at a piano with a candelabra. "I didn't really know Epstein, and it's a great investment!" in plummy, slurred Royal English. All that finishing school training just to pronounce while holding in a mouthful of spit (while not ejecting) and never moving the upper lip.

British Republic. It sounds nice.

What Britain needs is a written constitution, never mind the figurehead Monarchy.
