Listen Trumpcucks, just because unemployment is barely above 50-year lows, the stock market is at all time highs, consumer confidence is strong, the wages for the bottom 25% are rising the fastest...

...and Saturday was the Most Profitable Shopping Day in US History clocking in just shy of $35B...

Is No reason to assume the Economy is doing great! Besides, it's all Obama, anyway.

Trump snuck into office just in time to take credit for Obama's Great Socialist Paradise Leap Forward!

The record no republicans want to talk about is the record of increasing deficits during an economic expansion. These growth time deficits would make Ronald Reagaan blush. Actually they would make him, Bush or any other sane President raise taxes.

But not Trump, all he cares about is looking good while he's President, which is why I've got to believe he doesn't want another 4 years.

Then again, he does call himself "the king of debt," maybe he can stretch this out for 4 more years (another 6 or 7 trillion) and then Fox news can pin the blame on the next guy. IT would fit Trump, now wouldn't it ?

The Cucks would all buy it too.

This country is so fucked up.

Let's first talk about the unbelievably massive spending of Obama 2008-2010 and the tepid recovery for most of the country that barely followed.

Sure is. The economy is booming, we're pushing for real free trade not one-way only free trade, and all the democrats can talk about is non-existent Russian Collusion.

Right. We go into epic recession, before he even starts, with fixed spending in place against massively dropping revenues. Not surprised you feel the need to pin that on Obama.

Obama and many economists wanted to spend more. As for the tepid recovery. I don't even credit Obama that much, it was a group effort. A lot of people lost homes or were under water. IT was messed up times. The President can just do so much. I just want a president that I believe is worthy of the job, in terms of character, intelligence, disposition, emotional well being. I don't enjoy America being the laughing stock of the world, and I honestly know that what the economy is doing is relatively independent of who is President, although as I have said before, if our deficits were 600 billion lower, maybe we would have had a recession by now. I'm not sure that would have been bad (versus having a bigger recession later).

As I predicted; tax cuts, more people employed, more cash in their pockets, more consumer confidence, and people buy more shit.

Soon the data will show that profits were higher than expected, so people buying Apple shit will drive the stock price higher soon.

Other stocks will also rise; there is no reason for them not to.

I've been telling my friends since 2014 to get into stocks if they aren't already; later in 2016 I was yelling at them "buy stock mutual funds now!" They mostly have excuses and don't act.

"He who hesitates is lost." "Strike while the iron is hot". If you have any money every month, go balls to the wall in stock mutual funds; which ones almost don't matter but do not buy emerging markets, or weird specialized funds. An example of a very diversified but not specialized or sector fund which is managed is Fidelity Contrafund.

Fidelity funds now have no minimum investment; some of their funds also have a 0% expense ratio; I have one of them "total stock market index"

Trump is going to skate the bullshit impeachment, and the economy will roll along.

And Every Hoo in Hooville trolled the Libtards and sang "Hoo la Ooh La, Hoo La Voo, Christmas time is near!" while we all ate Roast Beast.

Sorry, it's Bush's economy!

Before GWB, we've had a secular bull market (with a hiccup in '87/'89) all the way till 2000.

And after the Dot Com/Telecom bust, Bush and company had to engineer both a 'Guns & Butter' and Q/E recovery which is still in effect today.

Both Obama and Trump were custodians of this post-2000 era, so I give no credit to Obama for anything he did.

And you’re pretending that Pelosi and her Democrats didn’t originate that last $1.4 trillion budget and pass it! Because it’s a Republican problem? You must be blind deaf and stupid!

This seems like a reasonable comment coming from you, Marcus. Bravo, I agree.
