Donald Trump blasts California Governor Gavin Newsom for state's homeless crisis and says federal government may get involved - as it's revealed that more than 140,000 residents are now without shelter.

Donald Trump says California Governor Gavin Newsom is doing a 'really bad job' in addressing the state's homelessness crisis

The number of homeless people in California increased more than 16% in the past year alone

More than 140,000 residents are now without shelter on a given night

Furious locals have begun placing boulders and large logs outside their homes and businesses to deter vagrants from setting up shelters

A recent report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development found Democrat-controlled states had the highest rates of homelessness
New York, Hawaii, California and Washington state topped the list

Meanwhile, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Virginia and North Dakota had the lowest rates of homeless per 10,000 people

You can probably multiply the homeless figure by a factor of three from the guv's 'convenience statistics', which are probably generated by some self serving bureaucrat with a heavy finger on the scales.

To be fair, California's problems aren't only related to the government. Excellent weather and lots of rich people regularly discarding perfectly usable household items are major draws as well.

The shoot-on-sight plan is news to me. Probably should roll that out on the southern border too. That would greatly improve the effectiveness of The Wall.

No, homelessness is directly related to blue government. For example, I was in Denver and also Boulder, Colorado. Denver didn’t have much homeless, but lefty crunchy Boulder had tons of homeless, even though the weather was cold and snowy!

Homeless prostitution.

It's not a coincidence. Policies that cater to them will attract more. You don't get rid of stray cats by feeding them. And you shouldn't be surprised when more show up. What I think is hilarious is that the liberals are now trying to ship them elsewhere buying them one way bus tickets. We should buy them bus tickets to Mexico.

Actually, NYC is attracting the homeless from NJ and Connecticut. Both neighboring states barely have a problem...despite being leftist dominated. The drugs are just easier to get there and there's more suckers around willing to give them change. They also have shelters up the wazoo. If you go to NYC, they are out during the day panhandling and at night, they flock to Penn Station or their shelters.

Mayor DeBlasio is currently being sued because he's trying to ship them to NJ and pay their rent for a year to stick them to us.
