1. Close the Borders
2. Eliminate government programs, like the one that cancels student debt if somebody goes into "Public Service" for 10 years, which includes BS like non-medical lib arts majors talking with Hep C/HIV positives for some reason, as if that can fix anything except encourage more freeloading.
3. Raise Tariffs to a flat 25% - 10% for our allies - in order to grow US Economy and keep wealth circulating inside the country to grow out of debt.

Amen.

Sounds good to me, though maybe 25% is not enough to compete with countries which have no labor laws or pollution standards.

4: Cut war spending back to 1990s level. That should be easy if you pull out of endless non-authorized wars.

5: Change social security and similar programs such that you can't ever get more than 2x what you put in.

Absolutely way too low. You would pretty much never know that we have tariffs on some Chinese goods.

You can't cut the military budget back that much because about a third of it is spent on retirement pensions. It's as much a social program as anything defense related.

Easy, don’t spend what you don’t have.

Won’t happen, government has no accountability so spending and stealing is all they do.

Stop taking on debt.

Yes, like some municipalities. You only spend this year what you collected in taxes last year.

If you go full-on with #2 from first post (eliminate government programs) 25% tariff might be enough... since there is no welfare you work for cheap or starve. American workers can be very productive if given the right situation. Plus, raw materials sourced in the USA don't have to travel to China and then back as finished goods; that's a natural advantage for American workers.
