Since no one's responded to HEY YOU's thread, let me re-post it ...

HEYYOU says
"On any given day, Donald Trump attacks, vilifies, ridicules, mocks, taunts or lampoons any person (dead or alive) or any ethnic, racial or social group."

"As someone born and reared in an Evangelical Christian household, where the teachings of Jesus centered on love, reconciliation, and compassion, I reject the ill will and multiple layers of prejudice and divisiveness Donald Trump has wrought. What would Jesus do? First, Jesus would not use Twitter to serve up daily doses of crude comments and hate-filled attacks on private citizens and public figures."

This is who immoral Republican scum elected. RepCon scum just lost a voter?

Rin answers:

One more time, is this the year ... 1985? Donald Trump's personality is a known entity for at least 3+ decades.

I just turned 40 this past year and I've been hearing that this guy was a douche & sleazebag, my whole life.

And as for Jesus comparisons, last I'd checked, he was a non-union contractor in Judea, not a sleazy real estate developer and reality show host. So why the comparisons?

Here's the problem, according to mainstream Christian beliefs, all ppl are born of sin and thus, Trump is no different than anyone else (but a bit on the extreme as far as pride and avarice goes). The idea is that Trump can be a total slime ball but if he repents and accepts Jesus on his death bed (since he's going to die anyways), he's "saved". That's just the fact of the religion. The notion of karma (with reincarnation) doesn't exist because divine grace can alleviate anyone of one's sins and then, one can ascend after his mortal coil expires.

Most Christians don’t care because it’s just propaganda. Character attacks are too common in politics.

Actually, the point here is that it has nothing to do with character or being "A Character".

It's whether or not, the President elect is doing his job and that his election wasn't some cozen fraud, as in the case of Florida back in 2000. And thus, using some association with "What would Jesus do in today's time as Commander in Chief" has nothing to do with the American presidency.

Hey You,

Rules for Radical doesn’t work on someone who doesn’t give a shit.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals

Specifically, #4 make the enemy live up to his own rules.

The left and the media have been in a fucking tizzy trying to make President Trump live up to the standard Republican rules of conduct, when clearly President Trump doesn’t subscribe to those rules and never has. So it leaves the media pointing out stuff Trump does as hypocritical, and the rest of America thinking “wtf are you talking about?”, in complete confusion.

Not to mention that President Trump has the balls to turn #5 about ridicule completely back on the left. Trumps petty name calling is a stroke of pure genius.

All that matters is that Trump is dividing the christian community.
It's sad that they are loving their delusion.

All one's decisions should be based on beliefs that have no proof of evidence.
Look at the 7.7 billion Clever Apes & one should be asking their creator; WTF were you thinking?

Lol you’re utterly delusional to think President Trump divides anything pertaining to Christian religion.

You can point out you’re supposed notion of hypocrisy while sitting in your own piss and poop and no one cares.

Who's dividing who?

Everyone knows that Trump's a sleaze.

The only thing is that between one sleaze, Hillary (who speaks with a forked tongue) and the other, who's a consummate trash talker, the latter is doing his job as President, not starting new wars, giving corps a tax break to bring capital back into the USA, and trying to protect the borders.

BTW, I believe Mahatma Gandhi used this principle in fighting the British Empire, as he expected that they were too afraid to simply use summary execution to stop a non-violent protest but instead, would be limited by their own due process rules.

To some extent, he was correct but then again, during the time he was jailed, during his protests, Jinnah was able to broker an independent Pakistan from the British Raj so once again, Gandhi was a failure in the end.

That seems very un Christian....

We elected a President not a pope.

The Christianity criticism falls well short of the mark (this is called a sin) because at a basic level, the Leftoids who are attempting this religious attack have NO CONCEPT of true Christianity. You fail because you are ignorant, and you are ignorant because you are stupid and overly proud.
Jesus commanded his followers to respect secular authority in matters of government, not to fight for religious ideals in that government!

I believe this is the "give to Caesar what is Caesar's" motion, however, if you look at Calvinism (which is the founder of Puritanism), the society we create is a reflection of divine providence, then you'll understand that a lot of American (not some other nation-state) Christians will want their President, even if he's a hypocrite/liar, to reflect those values.

Trump is clearly a non-Puritan, in every sense of the word.

And thus, he's redefining our Puritanical culture.

So?

You continually post a series of disingenuous arguments. The only way to dea with you and your ilk is to sling the poo back in your face. We now have a president willing to do so and it’s driving you out of your mind.

Still fighting in other countries that Trump has not ended. Sending troops.removing troops,WTF!
Wait these aren't declared wars,what a peacemaker.

In other words, he's letting the Pentagon do its shuffle, however, he's not starting new wars with either Syria or Iran while at the same time, keeping the military well funded. That's called Realpolitik because if you mess with the Pentagon, you WILL be assassinated. Ask Jack Kennedy about that one.

Realize, we have not sent a full division, ~20K troops, never mind a full army, into either Syria or Iran. That, in itself, limited us of sending back 1K bags which could easily have happened if Hillary were in Trump's shoes today.

Why is it hard for liberals to understand that if a political leader’s policy is completely aligned with my political stances, then that is more important to me than that leader being mean or saying rude things sometimes?

Because, liberals would rather be lied to so they can believe their fantasies. Trump is the only person who could have survived this onslaught of fake outrage because he flat out doesn't give a shit. Anyone else would have caved to political pressure. He doesn't. I'd say, his weakness is he caves to monetary pressure. I'd like to see him reverse course on the Saudis.
15   Shaman   2019 Dec 30, 8:46am

Trump is doing great as the head of government, but he’s always struggled in his additional role as head of state. The UK has a queen to be their head of state, so the Prime Minister can just be the head of government and be as nasty as he or she needs to be to get stuff done.
When Trump behaves that way, many Americans get all hurt that our head of state isn’t being statesmanlike. Well, we are asking quite a lot of one person! Perhaps we can grow beyond idolization of one person and just focus on results from the people we elect?

Yes, the public wants its own Dalai Lama, a BULLSHIT sweet talking spiritual leader, who's also the head of state.

I say ... give me a real, can-do head of state and not some saccharin coated cult leader.

There have been a lot of quotes on this one but let me give another.

https://www.inc.com/julie-strickland/quote-of-the-day-dalai-lama-women-make-compassionate-leaders.html

Excerpt: "In that respect, biologically, females have more potential," he said. "Females have more sensitivity about others' well-being. In my own case, my father, very short temper. On a few occasions I also got some beatings. But my mother was so wonderfully compassionate."

Here's my response to His So-called Holiness ... get a job! Seriously, you don't have kingdom and last I'd heard, you never even mentioned what a constitution for a post-feudal, modern world Tibet would even look like, if the PRC granted semi-autonomy never mind full independence.

I bring this up because of Barack Obama's insipid remarks along the same lines which lead to the following thread ...

Well, well, I guess it took a full generation (or two) for ppl to forget that it was a woman, who was one of the worst Presidents of a modern "free" nation ala Indira Gandhi of India ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Emergency_(India)

Yes, unlike Trump, she actually declared martial law on her own country, advocating socialism while tossing political opponents in jail (instead of just talking trash about 'em), pushed for sterilization of poor ppl in return for land/monies, and so on and so on.

And took a long time for feminists to stop putting her on the mantelpiece, as an example of female empowerment and leadership as she more or less, established India as a Banana Republic of Nepotism prior to her and her son's assassinations.

Yes, India's real independence, post-British 1947, was after her and her successor son were dead, 1991. Afterwards, it was a young nation, free of the cronies who took power when Lord Mountbatten relinquished the Viceroy.

So True, Rin.
She married a Muslim man Khan and converted into Islam. But she borrowed "Gandhi" name for public consumption instead of using her real last name Khan.
She imposed 97.5% Income Tax. (https://www.quora.com/What-was-Indira-Gandhis-rationale-behind-97-5-Income-Tax-Rate)
She brought in more than 100 million Muslim illegals from neighboring countries who carved-out of India as countries just based on their Islamic religion and put them on tax payers changed. All of them are anti nationals.
Now her grand children and Italian daughter-in-law widow Sonia still working for only Islamic cause every day to destroy the country.
Like Patrick and others said many times, (relatively) women can not identify the danger coming to the group and ultimately drive through cliff.

So there you have it, the Dalai Lama, the six decade long, head of the Tibetan diasporic govt in exile couldn't achieve what Trump could, within a few short years.

Tax breaks went to stock buy backs & bonuses not to job creation?

I don't know if you know but most companies start with the lowest hanging fruit and then, once that's over, can re-patriot funds to expands operations in the US, however, given the fact that outsourcing is now a part of mainstream business (with high bandwidth internet to facilitate communications), it'll never get back to the way it was during the 90s in terms of stable long term employment. And USMCA is certainly an upgrade over NAFTA, which was both a Republican (Reagan/Bush) and Democratic (Clinton) misfire.

HEYYOU says
Still 20,000,000 illegal roaming the streets under Trump.

Trump is not Indira Gandhi, the "male USA version". He can't declare martial law at will and have a bulk of the US army round up ppl and deport 'em. Sorry, but this is a day-to-day law enforcement issue.

Indira razzed huge sections of her country, including the northeast and the Paki-Kashmir borders but in her case, to clandestinely support Islamist types. Is that who you want for an American President?
19   Rin   2019 Dec 30, 11:01am

One more time, Indira Gandhi is not related to Mohandas Gandhi.
