This from Middle-Eastern journalists. Not surprising considering Iran's missile technology is some of the best out there, and misses like this would have to be intentional. Also, if this was legit, why isn't MIC responding with more attacks? I mean a little protest at the embassy = assassination, but missile attack on base housing US troops = nothing!?
There's a rumor Soleimani was planning a coup, and Iran government wanted him gone. At this point, that makes way more sense than the official narrative.
Boy, I can't wait to tell my kids how I survived WW3, and how Trump brought America back from defeat after the annoyance bombing of US bases that resulted in no fatalities.
This attack was done to save US face: Trump can claim all is well and leave the region with the tail between his legs.
The last thing either US or Iran want is a hot war. The US really has no clear objectives in the region and so nothing better to do than leave in any case.
But if Iran was seen killing Americans, Trump would escalate the pissing match further.
The real answer will come later: some untraceable explosion kill scores of Americans.
