Nothing to see here, it the left's attempt to ruin racist single family housing. Since it's CA I'm sure it will pass and further exacerbate the living standards that are making people leave.

From the article's byine, "S.B. 50 would make the state denser, cheaper, greener, and more affordable."

Ignoring the redundancy of "cheaper" and "more affordable" (what is journalism anymore?), what's so "green" about "forcing California communities to allow more construction"?

Population stabilization, redevelopment projects, and true infill are compatible with conservationism. (Though not expanding city boundaries to wild lands and "infilling" them as my municipality does.) But giving the green light to development while keeping the border porous is a fool's errand. It's nothing an environmentalist should applaud. What the heck happened to the left?

Another two year old LibbyFuck Ivy League diaper girl solving the world's problems with Global Warming screed and ghetto air drops. I wonder what Globalist outpost provides her with her "research" scripts.

Does she have a lovely home on the Upper East Side and vacation in the Hamptons and Bahamas?

I'm a simple man, I see "The Atlantic" and I know it's going to be filled with pseudo-science, leftist politics standing in for "solutions".

Any bill which doesn't stipulate removal of all illegals as first step is shit. And is going to make things worse.

The only thing making California livable again is a mass-exodus of the regressive ultra leftoids together with all illegal immigrants and replace them with Libertarians and Conservatives.
