I think the BBC are having trouble with all the SJW/diversity shoe horning in their scripts, to just tell stories. I watched season 20 of Midsomer Murders, and I think the script writers are starting to make fun of it.
In one episode, they left a Chinese guy (with the white wife) with a German name, and the whole plot revolved around a gay love affair in which one gay man (white gay in love with black gay) was murdering for love. I got the impression that the SJW force fed production was making fun of all the diversity shit.
