Find out the people responsible for failing to bring justice to this perp. D.A., judge, politician, whoever it may be, and charge those with accessory to murder.
This is the same thing they'll do to the peons when someone's negligence or criminal act results in the death of another. I've heard of cases where a cop is killed in a car accident while speeding to the scene of a crime, and they charge the person involved in the crime (but with no involvement in the car accident) with murder.
Yeah, I know. Wishful thinking to imagine that laws are enforced equally and that the system isn't full of hypocrisy and double-standards.
