Thug feels disrespected goes gets hidden gun to do some killing against what he thought would be easy target and gets his dumb ass killed. Case Closed.

The 2@ rally was all the proof American needs an armed society is a polite society.

This should be the expected response for his behavior. Obama isn't president anymore, and Sheriff Scott Israel isn't Sheriff anymore either.

That Eric Reason dude certainly didn't live up to his last name.

Not murder.

For a moment I started to feel mixed about how he kept shooting as the guy ran. But, the aggressor could have ran across the street, taken cover behind a parked car, collected his thoughts for a moment, and then charged back and murdered the cop, or recklessly shot from across the street into the crowd. The cop didn't seem to have any obvious retreat or alternative that would have secured the safety of him and his wife, and the two of them fleeing on foot is unrealistic, and attempting to drive away would likely be suicide. Plus, the cop knew his gunfire was trained and controlled, but if the aggressor were to start returning fire, perhaps from across the street, then lots of bystanders would be in danger.

I think he did the right thing. When you seriously threaten someones life, it's on.

Pulling a gun over a parking lot argument demonstrates they aren't of sound mind, in that moment. Assuming extreme aggression is correct.

Agreed. Maybe he could have acted in a more deescalating manner once the thug turned his back on him and seemingly gave up, and in other countries that may be the law police has to adhere to, but in the US this use of lethal force was legally valid and covered. Mothers tell your wannabe thug kids not to brandish and point a weapon over a parking/driving dispute. Case closed.
