Does this mean the previous offer of a high paying but non appearance job at Burisma is null and void?

Oh, this pud will be highly compensated somewhere. Sets the example and lets any future traitors know they can cash out, too.

He will land some anti-trump Libby job.

Vindman, a decorated veteran

This "decorated veteran" is as big a joke as "combat veteran." Medals and ribbons are handed out at the end of routine tours for just showing up.

Now lets see prosecutions for the FISA abuse.

Many officers are flown into/over "Combat Zones" just to get the income tax exemption and some medals.

Been going on since Vietnam, Generals flown out to Vietnam, fly over a designated combat area at 10,000 feet in a chopper, fly back home, all in 48 hours to tax free income and a combat ribbon, a Vietnam Service ribbon, etc.

We definitely need an officer reduction of 75%. Shit that used to be done by Lt. Colonels in WW2 is now done by 2-star Generals, despite huge advances in technology.

Navy has more admirals than individual ships.

Trump cracks me up. "Do you think I'm supposed to be happy about him?"

Correct. I had a Wing Commander who would schedule himself one day a month to fly down from RAF Mildenhall to where we were based in Turkey doing "Deny Flight." This was all he needed to get Combat Pay and the tax exemption.

Now Sondland too.

Trump should have pitchforked this guy in the face and watched him die on the White House lawn like a normal president.

Yes, and it would show that Trump has class because he always uses the right silverware in the right sequence.

Yes, as long as the fork was on the left.

The irony is sacking him (and his brother) as well as Gordon Sondland so shortly after his acquittal may well qualify as a high crime and / or misdemeanor. If nothing else it's a bad optic.

I'm calling it now. If Trump wins in 2020 he'll be the first president to be impeached twice.

There, fixed it. Those individuals served at Trump's pleasure, and he doesn't need any excuses for dismissing them. Any optics were well preserved by waiting until AFTER he was fully exonerated.

Greaternycdude, we call it firing.
Anyone who works in the government does so at the pleasure of the president and can be fired on his whim.

There's still time left in his 1st term to impeach him 2-3 more times.
16   Ceffer   2020 Feb 7, 9:59pm

"Hey, do you want to impeach Trump this time" "What on?" "Dunno yet, the think tank is still working on it." "Nah, you can do it. You need the cheap publicity!"

True, those people serve at the President's pleasure and can be canned at will. But remember, Trump was impeached purely on partisan political grounds, based on trumping up a phone call that Trump had every right to make. The real reason Trump was impeached was that he is an outsider who took out Hillary Clinton, and therefore Trump can be impeached again for trivial non-crimes such as canning "hero whistle blower Vindman,"
18   just_passing_through   2020 Feb 8, 10:06am

Anyone catch that there were two Vindmans let go from the white house yesterday? Twins. One was civilian.

And , how is telling the truth is being a traitor. Ah I see, the Trumptards have a different code of ethics. Never mind, I get it now.

Hey T&A, got any news about the primaries in Guam? I for one haven't heard a peep.
