"This is the stuff of genuine authoritarianism. And fascism. Not kind-of-maybe-one-day-possibly. But the real thing, here and now."

"American denial about the authoritarian-fascist nature of its own collapse is the deepest I think I’ve ever seen, in decades of studying societies, politics, and economics. I don’t think I’ve seen a society confronted by abuses so strong they rise — obviously — to the level of authoritarianism and fascism…and yet being so shatteringly, deafeningly silent about it. So what explains America’s deafening silence?"

Stupid Republicans & Retard Democrats. Who doesn't know that?

In a way the Dems informally practice a social credit score system employed by left wing authoritarian regimes like China and Venezuela.

They use bullying and intimidation tactics like public shaming.

Look at how they called for a boycott of Vince Vaughn movies because he shook the hand of President Trump while attending the LSU-Clemson football game.

Look at how they shouted at the female secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security in a Washington DC restaurant.

Look at how they used their sychophants in the mainstream media to target White House officials like Stephen Miller.

Trump’s revengeful actions betray him.

Trump’s lies insult and betray you.

Trump’s ideal is to rule us all by the power of fear. He has the power of all the billionaires behind him too.

Massive activism and resistance is the only way for us to have any freedom at all at this point we already lost so much.

Will that be the reason that RepCons never buy anything from Communist China, again?
How many RepCons are on Trump's govt.social programs that he allows to continue to exist?
At my friends store, one can see the Right wing come in & use food stamps. How sorry is a white male Republic' loser that can't feed his family without help. There are numbers of customers that use SNAP & my friend always says Republican to me when one walks out the front door.

They'd better do that, because the people are coming to stomp out ALL the phony ASTROTURF on the ground that is controlled by parasites. In the final analysis, there will be Pinkertons and National guard to break all and all assemblies and we need a president that will stand for us, NOT LIKE TRUMP who ruthlessly busted up the people at North Dakota and even profitted personally from the pipelines and the steel work going to his Russian oligarch gangster compadres.

Was tRUMP President on Sept 3, 2016?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dakota_Access_Pipeline_protests

On September 3, 2016, during Labor Day weekend, the Dakota Access Pipeline brought in a private security firm when the company used bulldozers to dig up part of the pipeline route that contained possible Native graves and burial artifacts; it was subject to a pending injunction motion. The bulldozers arrived within a day after the tribe filed legal action.[58] Energy Transfer bulldozers cut a two-mile (3200 m) long, 150-foot (45 m) wide path through the contested area.[59][60]

When unarmed protesters crossed the perimeter fence to stop the bulldozers, the guards used pepper spray and guard dogs to attack. At least six protesters were treated for dog bites, and an estimated 30 were pepper-sprayed before the guards and their dogs left the scene in trucks. A woman that had taken part in the incident stated, "The cops watched the whole thing from up on the hills. It felt like they were trying to provoke us into being violent when we're peaceful."[60] The incident was filmed by Amy Goodman and a crew from Democracy Now![59][61] Footage shows several people with dog bites and a dog with blood on its muzzle.[60][62][63]

"Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism."
"Opposed to liberalism, Marxism, and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.[4][5][6]"

It's sad that scum RepCons & stupid fucks that honor a monarchy, don't have a clue about definitions of the words they use.

I don't see even the slightest hint of authoritarianism from the right in the US these days. Can someone give me an example?

I have personally experienced plenty of authoritarianism from the left though.

Please explain how a Fascist, who believes in total government control of society and the economy, are "right wing," when a right wing person wants as small a government as possible and the least amount of economic controls. The ultimate right winger is an Anarchist, who wants no government at all. The only people more left wing than a Fascist is a Socialist/Communist. In America, right wingers believe in gun rights, Facists believe in total gun confiscation, like all other authoritarians.
