Why are Companies filling up my inbox with what is essentially nothing more than their Home Page?

No hot offer, no Urgent notice, just a HTML email that has links to their store and Departments, it could serve as their home page.
"Start Enjoying Savings now"

Who are these sorry useless pieces of shit working in Internet marketing now, and why for the Love of God does every fucking company always play "Monkey See, Monkey Do!"?

There is no creativity and the Millennial generation gets more feckless and useless every day by the damn minute. I can't for the life of me figure out why they would clutter up my inbox with nothing more than their home page. Another new ploy, the unsubscribe links don't work and I guess if you pay Network Solutions, Google, and Hotmail enough they make the "Mark as Spam" a do nothing button, because they all keep coming. My only recourse is to never do business again with

Home Depot
Mono Price
Guitar Center
Brands Mart USA
Seismic Audio

Even recruiters are now sending nothing emails, expecting me to click on it to go to their page to find the job I'm not looking for. It's up to them to entice me with an offer I can't refuse. I don't think they know how any of this works, or they don't have sense God gave Goat Shit!

Do you know who never bother's me? Amazon, never get one single email from them Ever! As much as I loathe Amazon as an operation, at least Bezos hires competent people to spend their marketing dollars, they don't waste billions on shit that is just going to alienate their customers and piss them off.

I'm going to print up all of the Home Depot emails I have gotten over the last few months, about 3 a day all the same "Home Page" no offer emails, and go shove it in the managers face at my local Home Depot and let them know why I'll be a Lowes man from now on.

Agree. Millennials think if you just send an email with a link you'll click it. The. They get mad and don't understand why they have a low conversion rate.

Problem is, they are ruining the value of email as a viable means of marketing for people who actually use it as a source of income.

Every company I mentioned earlier in that post has sent me at least two more emails since then.

"Start Saving"
"Check for daily deals"

The Millennials running shit can't grasp that with the Unemployment rate close to 3%... it's up to them to recruit and chase.

Oh another one is Netflix, they keep sending me a Come Back to Netflix email. No special offer, just a "Rejoin Today" button, and a list of titles, that are the main reason I dumped them anyway.
