"Coronavirus could start to empty shelves in some U.S. stores by mid-April"

"Almost 60 million Chinese workers remain quarantined in their homes and others are staying away from work, afraid of catching the virus at crowded factories. So far, there have been more than 40,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and over 1,000 deaths."

Trump brought back all manufacturing & created 6 figure jobs. We don't need anything from Communist China.

Yes, which means it will do what the Globalist Corporate Fucks stopped Trump from doing.

I am loving every minute. And if that means Americans won't be going into debt to buy shit off the shelves of WalMart, even better!

Reliance on China would do that.

And today's segway into using this bullshit post as a good backdrop to the War of 1812 is...

America between independence from Britain to the War of 1812 was very reminiscent of America's today in that it was mostly reliant on a foreign power (back then, Britain) for most of its manufactures. But the War of 1812 finally broke that, as manufacturers in the US finally got their chance to step up and engage in large import substitution of British sources. Before that, the non-industrial South had been successful in stopping measures proposed to wean the US off British import reliance because British imports were usually cheaper.

Sound familiar?
