I knew Bernie would start pushing moderate Democrats to the GOP. I hope Bernie doesn't get cheated at the DNC convention. If Bernie gets the nomination, Trump might have the biggest electoral (and popular vote) victory since Reagan wrecked Mondale.

I hear ton of Bloomberg commercials here in California. Elites are either going with buttplug or most likely Bloomberg.

The attempted counter revolution will be quashed, and traitors dealt with as enemies of the people.

Bloomberg is literally showering ads everywhere. If I don't somehow see 5-10 day, I'm like "WTF Mike, lazy day?" Between web and TV it's impossible to see under 5 ads a day from him. I don't even think IL is part of super Tuesday either. He's nuts.

out here in CA hi ads are telling young people to call a number to “get their voice heard, about what previous generations messed up”. So not divisive...

From what I saw last night butt geyser and bloomberg probably have the best chance. Butt geyser is gay, so that's a non-starter for most the country, but he seems pretty reasonable.

Bloomberg is just too short. I'm being sarcastic, but to some extent serious. Fact is both are extremely flawed candidates. Trump's personality was a flaw, but he somehow got over it. Being a gay man will likely lose you 10-20% of the male popular vote out the gate, especially non-dems. Most heterosexual males I know have zero problem with gays, but voting for them is a whole other story.

Bloomberg never mentions height during a debate if it wasn't a polling issue. He's either insecure about it or he's trying to make light of it. All he did was draw more attention to it, which is a bad thing for him in my opinion.

When your two best options are a gay mayor of a college town and a short stack that wants to tell you that you can't have a Coke, then the party is doomed.

@HEYYOU - Have you lived in flyover country? I'll admit Kentucky is a different place, but that doesn't mean the people don't want what's best for their family.

This is the disconnect with the left. Hell last night with all the focus on blacks in SC. Poor white people are a substantially bigger demo than blacks as a whole across the country. Trump knew this. These people need help just as much as the black person on the South side of Chicago. Identity politics is going to be the undoing of the Democratic party along with a host of other things.

Democrats did this to themselves. They let crazy SJW's consume the party. They can only scream about "help blacks" or "help gays" or help "hispanics". And that turns off a lot of people, hell it even turns off hispanics and blacks I know who are tired of that leftist bullshit. At least that's what I see. I'm sure it's differently viewed in SF where the city is swallowed by leftist propaganda where idiots are believing their own bullshit at this point.

Using a trading metaphor, Trump's crappy personality was priced into the market and thus, over time, became a non-factor, something which the Democrats still don't understand, up to today.

If the next 6 months are anything like last nights 3-ring-circus of a primary debate, Trump is going to crush it in November; the Democratic party will be fractures with it's base at war with itself. The best hope for the party is for the far-left candidates to drop out now and let a single moderate cruise to landslide convention victory before the head-to-head with Trump. That candidate would then have better all-around support among the Democrat voters.

Among the so-called "moderates" still standing:
• Klobuchar: hmm... maybe. She has never been strong in the polls.
• Biden: too old. Yeah, Trump is old, but Biden is truly a gaff machine. (With Trump we tend to think the "gaffs" are actually purposeful or malicious, not a byproduct of mental dysfunction.)
• Bloomberg: His time as mayor and running the eponymous news organization will give Trump plenty of opposition angles — fair or not.
• Buttigieg: Seems like the brightest of the group. He's been fading fast in the primaries, but might represent the best hope against Trump.

Facts.

The left thought voters would be turned off because Trump called Rosie a "fat pig".

Wrong. The majority of Americans expected Trump to return fire on people like Rosie, and in fact, tacitly agreed with his assertion that Rosie is indeed a fat swine.

Why do RepCon whites choose to be poor?

Because world is full of people who can't figure a thing out, people who accept government dependency over trying to accomplish something in their life. Been that way since the dawn of time.
13   Goran_K   2020 Feb 26, 12:12pm

Poor red voting whites, poor blue voting minorities, the problem is the same: Addicted to government welfare.

It's not just Bernie. It's all those morons on the stage saying they were for no borders, abolishing ICE, and giving free shit to illegals and anyone who sets foot in the USA.
16   rocketjoe79   2020 Feb 26, 6:34pm

Of course it doesn’t look good for the Democrats in November.
Biden will lose, but he won’t “sink the ship” entirely.
Bernie would lose, while ruining things completely for the rest of the races, which is why the DNC hates him.
20   MisdemeanorRebel   2020 Mar 5, 4:18pm

Which is why we love BERNIE!

Mondale or Moynihan or Tip O'Neil would be considered barbarian reactionary nazis by 80% of Dem Voters today.

The dems changed the rules so mini Mike could debate and then changed them again after Tulsi met the rules.

Tulsi is the only dem that would stand a chance debating Trump. If they let her debate the demented groper and the communist apologist she would Kamala them.

The racist misogynist democrats don't want a young women of color to be the candidate.

I know that by "Kamala" them, you mean Tulsi would expose their hypocrisy like Tulsi did to Kamala Harris in that early debate. However, the term "Kamala" should mean to get ahead by giving the boss a sexual favor, like Kamala did with Willie Brown. Proper use would when someone at work got an undue promotion, and a co-worker remarks "I wonder who she Kamala-ed to get that job."
