Yes, like when a Turkish F-16 shot down a Russian SU-24. Russia had no way to retaliate.
What a mess.
hopefully this does not grow into a wider regional war. Imagine what that would do to world economy.
Going to war there without proper means to establish and protect reliable supply lines was like putting one's neck into a noose and giving the end of the rope to the enemy.
Now he will get a bloody nose and perhaps revolt at home, as his strongman image will be damaged.

Tsushima 2.0?
i wonder how many of these are controlled from USA.
Here's your snazzy tank. Now, drive it around Syria and be a big shot rolling over peasants. OOPS! Didn't tell you about the little dronezy wonezy flying around up there.

That tank would not still be rolling along if it were hit with a Hellfire missile.
It's funny how it only took couple of days to establish a no-fly zone for Assad planes over northern Syria. Imagine how many lives would've been saved and how many refugees would've stayed home instead of flooding Europe if Obama had balls to do it 8 years ago?Hillary was for it.

The one with the crew jumping out and one of them even being rolled over by his own tank?

The first minute of that video shows a tank hit, but then still driving down the road. A Hellfire would have blown the turret off.
• 2,212 Syrian regime soldiers
“A first, a relatively lighter strike by the Su-22s forced the convoy to stop, after which the pounding intensified, forcing the soldiers to take shelter in several roadside buildings. What followed next was likely the dropping of KAB-1500L bombs — a variation of advanced laser-guided bunker buster bombs capable of penetrating to depths of up to 20 meters (65 feet) — by the Russian jets. Two of the buildings collapsed in the attack, leaving the Turkish soldiers under the rubble.”

Since Russia’s official involvement in the Syrian war began in 2015, the Russian air force has been the main military power behind the Bashar al Assad regime. The United Nations has accused Russia of “war crimes” for indiscriminate bombing of civilian populated areas and causing thousands of deaths.
Top Russian military commanders repeatedly have bragged about how much their air forces learned from the Syrian operation, which also became a testing ground for new Russian weaponry.
As the confrontation between Turkey and Russia escalated, Turkey also announced it would no longer hold Syrian refugees (in accordance with the 2016 agreement between Turkey and the EU) and opened its borders for them to cross over into Europe.
