Obviously the Central Bank will keep fueling their debt binge until they cant! At this point I speculate that the USD will reverse to its average historical exchange rate. I also predict this bust will likely happen after the US election, so around November, unless other OPEC countries enter the fray. The headline says thay Saudi Arabia and Russia are "battling" but in reality they are playing the long game against the US shale ( which has never been profitable ).

This is what Russian propaganda outlets are now blasting at volume 11. In reality, the fucks decided to play chicken with SA, but the ragheads didn't blink and the shit is looking more and more as a perfectly aimed shot in the foot. It didn't end well for them in 86-91. But "this time it is different", suuuuuure.

What we really need to know is what the traders on the Iranian Oil Bourse at the end of the Silk Road are thinking.

The world anxiously awaits the next day's opening with baited breath

Depends how long the price stays that low. Its about the 200 day moving average for a barrel of oil staying below $45 for at least 365 days.

Remember when Bush stuffed Strategic Petroleum Reserves at $150 / barrels?

The wells are not going anywhere, the tech is not going anywhere. Gazprom is still fucked by American fracking. Bwahahahaha.

Is there a way out?
Import duties on imported oil should fix this pretty quickly.

.

Rig count in USA is down almost 80% over the last 12 months. Natural gas rig count down a lot also. I wonder if there will be run up of natural gas and oil prices within two to three years.

Depends on how much demand there is.

Seems there is actually a steady decrease in cost over past two years.
