Another day, another epic gaffe for former Obama vice president Joe Biden. This time, Biden giddily declared that if he wins the presidency, then “I think we can win back the House!”

Biden made the gaffe on the campaign trail Monday, when he gleefully chirped: “Together, I think we can win back the House!”

Biden then corrected himself by stammering: “We’re gonna keep the House, increase it, and flip the Senate.”

Maybe he was talking about Bernie Sanders' latest house.

And CNN said isn't it great that Quid Pro Quo Joe Biden had a fit of rage in response to a gun owner at a Detroit factory

Mainstream media is going to spend at least 1/2 their time giving cover for Biden's behavior, judgment, and corruption

Poor IHLlary. Her bridge to the White House is dissolving beneath her feet AGAIN! CURSES!

It's not a gaffe. It's called a lapsus. Something that is bound to happen to anyone talking endlessly like a presidential candidate.

A gaffe would be for example Obama when he described his bowling skills as akin to participants in the Special Olympics.

Disagree. You're running for the biggest job. I know it's not going to be 100% all the time. Trump still fucks up. But almost every time Joe opens his mouth he butchers stuff. It's not normal to mix up the house and senate. For POTUS, having those within your party is like gold. He shouldn't have slipped up on that. Along with a plethora of other things.

Trump gives streams of words, jumbled and garbled, with strong but nebulous adjectives. This is a cover for his not being very bright, but also for not being informed. A bullshitter.

“We have the best Coronavirus. Everyone is talking about it. Some say I’m a genius, but I’ll tell you what..have you seen the founding fathers lately? I belong on Mt. Rushmore, they tell me. “

What's the measurement of being bright though? Not defending him, but not everyone is remotely informed of/on anything. I know little to nothing about Africa, does that make me uninformed on everything?

The perception that the POTUS is supposed to be some legal or scholarly person is a joke. 10 out of 10 times it's a personality contest and not an intelligence contest. Brain surgeons go bankrupt because they can't manage money. Are they unintelligent? Intelligence as most people think of it is an absolutely stupid benchmark for judging someone. It's actually a hindrance. Look at Hillary and her view of fly over country.... she doesn't seem too bright now does she?

This is what Trump actually said: "Whatever happens, we're totally prepared," Trump continued. "We have the best people in the world. You see that from the study. We have the best prepared people, the best people in the world."

Compared to Biden, Trump is an active intelligent with it president, which Biden will never be, not any more. Your comments CL are what is stupid, not Trump's remarks.

Problem is the mainstream media has always covered for Biden because he has the letter D after his name, as in Democrat not Dementia.

So Biden is not conditioned to check and monitor what he says because of the constant free passes from the mainstream media.

Biden even admitted that he graduated near the bottom of his Syracuse Law class.

So where are all the elitist Democrats in the mainstream media ridiculing that ?

Of course his mind is going soft. If you want to write a thread about that start with a list of 10 examples when "he butchered stuff".
1 example is petty.

Plenty of examples.

List is growing every single day.

Yup. Socal2 used the dog face pony soldier hammer and hit the unicorn right on the head.... and then sniffed the horn.

I've said it before, I'm not a Trump supporter but will likely vote for him. November is going to be a disaster for Democrats if EITHER of the two front runners get the nomination. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the party crumbles at or before the convention.

Biden even admitted that he graduated near the bottom of his Syracuse Law class.

After he lied about being in the top half, and was accused of plagiarism several times. He also lied about having a full academic scholarship, somehow, he got a partial needs scholarship although his family was rich enough to send him to an elite private school. He also lied about having three degrees.

Sound like Familar behavior?

Newsweek magazine said Biden does not mention the moot-court competition on his resume and did not win the political science award at University of Delaware, where he received a single B.A. in political science and history.

Biden told the New York Times that he was “frustrated” and “angry as hell” about the Newsweek report.

“It’s so easy to make things look like there’s something sinister about them,” he said. “I guess every single word I’ve said is going to be dissected now.”Of his class ranking in law school, he said, “I exaggerate when I’m angry, but I’ve never gone around telling people things that aren’t true about me.”

“I went to (Syracuse) law school on a full academic scholarship,” said Biden
Records he released indicated he had a partial, need-based scholarship as well as student loans.

Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. claimed during a campaign appearance in New Hampshire last spring that he finished in the top half of his law school class, although records indicate he finished near the bottom

"I graduated with three degrees from college,” Biden told the questioner.

All this from the LA Times, so it must be the LA Times are all Bernie supporters, right?
