Wait, wasn't Putin supposed to be supporting Trump?

Trump is facing two different risks. The coronavirus is enough of a problem, but there is another threat: that a pandemic could be used as cover for an assault on America’s recently acquired status as the world’s top oil producer. When the US was dependent on imports, low oil prices would have been welcome. But now that fracking has made America a net exporter of oil, it has new vulnerabilities. These are now being tested.

That’s why, this time, the Russians didn’t want to play the Saudi game. As far as Moscow sees it, it’s dangerous to cut oil production, because it would end up creating more demand for American oil. That would stabilize oil prices, but America would end up stronger. How could such an outcome possibly benefit Russia? Vladimir Putin thus put the motherland first, and unceremoniously abandoned a three-year supply pact with Saudi Arabia — it officially expires next month — whose goal had been to keep oil prices artificially high. (So much, incidentally, for Putin’s apparent determination to help Trump’s re-election campaign at every turn.)

Gosh, this pandemic seems to be showing that the liberal media is full of shit.

You're welcome.

IMHO, it definitely helps to keep pointing out that the media is lying for political reasons.

Well fortunately, you still have Fox news and Brietbart which will never mislead you at all.

MSNPC being full of shit does not exclude FOX being made out of the same substance.

This. Marcus has become increasingly defensive over the past month or so, meaning it’s slowly dawning on him that all sides lie, but the msm Democrat favoring propaganda is the most horrible lie of all. But it’s a painful process.

I swear every time I forget how incredible this band really was, something in the media or government pulls me back.

I don't have cable and I don't watch MSNBC.

Are they every bit as biased as Fox ? Sure. I've always known that.

As for CNN and NYT. Guilty also. But their bias is often (if not usually) in the direction of truth, and still even then called bias by right wingers.

Hence the phrase: "Reality has a well known liberal bias."

Thanks for confirming belief in fairy tales.

One of the best albums ever. And one of the best live acts back in the days with Geoff Tate. They blew away Metallica who were headlining at a monsters of rock many many years ago when the crowd was done giving it all right before Metallica started. Brilliant album.

Fox is definitely propaganda as well, only slightly different.

Breitbart actually has some original points now and then.

There is no truth in CNN. You are gullible, because you want to believe them, not because they have truth.

Do you hear yourself? Bias means interpreting away from truth and objectivity. Bias cannot be "in the direction of truth."
