Here is what you do. You time the market. You predict what the market is going to do. Then, the rest is simple. You buy when the market is going to go up, and you sell and go short when the market is going to go down. This method has been proven time and time again with day trading -- it's a no-brainer.. Your grandchildren will not be able to spend the interest on all of that long green.

Bonus points if you do it with bitcoins instead of stocks.
Yesterday was wild. I threw a few g's at AAL. Within 15 seconds I was up $3-400, then 20 minutes later I was -$500. This morning I'm up about $200 on the single gamble. If you're good a trading, you can make a killing on this.
I don't normally do individual stocks, but this is a good long term buy in opportunity.

Not individual stocks. I want to bet on the Dow #.

There's an entire prop trading career, based upon the e-minis (a.k.a the futures contract of the S&P500), where ppl make money betting on the ups and downs of the index based upon intraday or swing (more than one day) indicators.
And, those that do "succeed", are just lottery winners -- just plain hitting on all cylinders for a stretch. It's called running good in the gambling world, and yes it does happen, and it can last long enough to cash out big and then lecture whoever will listen about doing it right. But, it ain't common.
