"New daily Coronavirus cases in the United States fell for the first time in over a week, according to the latest numbers from Worldometers.

On Sunday March 29th, the US registered 18,469 new daily Coronavirus cases, which was down from 19,452 on Saturday. This could very well mark the beginning of a "peak" in new Coronavirus cases in the United States.

While the "total" case number is still seeing steady growth, this drop in "daily new" cases could mean that the exponential spread of the virus has come to a grinding halt

From March 21 to March 22 alone, our new daily cases skyrocketed from 4,825 to 9,400. From March 25 to March 26, the daily cases grew from 13,355 to 17,224.

This pattern continued for several days until the final number was tallied on Sunday, registering at "only" 18,469, down over 1,000 new cases from Saturday.

Yes, our "total" case count is still growing by what could be considered an alarming rate, but we need to look deeper into the numbers.

The fact that the daily "new" cases appear to be slowing down means that the virus is not spreading at the frightening rate it had been.

Take note, the cases that are showing up now are cases that likely originated 5-7 days ago. That means our nationwide efforts to enforce "social distancing" are working just like Trump said they would. (KEEP IT UP!)

Another reason these numbers are incredibly encouraging is because we're TESTING more people than ever before. On Sunday, our country conducted 95,000 tests alone, yet we still registered over 1,000 less cases than the previous day.

We're not saying the pain is over yet, but this drop in new cases is the first glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel for our country.

Cases may very well jump back above 20k on Monday, but as long as we have stopped the exponential growth of new cases per day, we are well on our way to defeating this invisible enemy once and for all.."

Remember how Trump stopped flights from China in late January?

Remember how Biden called that "xenophobia"?

Everyone should remember this on election day.

@Patrick, you forgot that ORANGEMANBAD no matter what he does, unless he bombs Syria.

Of course, the media is the lapdog of globalists.

But Democratic voters have the ability to see the obvious. They just need to drop the media-inspired hate and think a little bit.

Did Trump do the right thing back in January by ending flights from China?

Did Biden accuse him of xenophobia for it?

Both are obviously true.

Does anyone actually think it's a real contest? I always vote, so I'll still do the same in November. But anyone thinking Biden winning is an actual possibility needs a lobotomy.

I actually haven't been all that positive with the way Trump has handled this. BUT... there's not a chance I'd want Biden trying to deal with this.

We’ll see. Most projections I’ve read have the peak in mid to late April.

I don’t believe this. Their ridiculous emotions and inherent biases kick in and it’s like they can’t think at all.
Sad, really.

The result: Most cases in the world (besides lying China).

America is doing better than virtually all of Western Europe in keeping the death per capita down.

Do you attribute this to Trump shutting down travel from China and Europe early? Or - is this a testament of America's superior healthcare system compared to Europe's nationalized systems?

Both.

Trump stopped Flights from China AFTER the infected people had arrived in USA, at the same time claiming it’s a hoax. It’s like locking the door AFTER the robber has entered the house, and then claiming the robber is an angel.
The result: Most cases in the world (besides lying China).
But he rated himself a 10 out of 10. So the Trumptards praise him.

Curious lack of mention of Biden's accusation of "xenophobia" after Trump acted.

Why the omission?

ANnnnddd, the curve flattening for sure (that's US only). Couple this with the hydroxychlorquine and hopefully this hoax will be over shortly.

As I type this, the GLOBAL covid death count is less than 40,000. Not even HALF the US annual flu death rate.

What a joke.

How about median age:
Netherlands 42.6
France 41.4
Belgium 41.4
United Kingdom 40.5
United States 38.1

I think the US makes up for that by our high percentage of diabetes and obesity compared to Western Europe.

Eric Erickson who hosts an Atlanta based radio show was discussing Corona and the state of Georgia. The infection rate is now falling in our state according to his data. We've had several thousand infections, I think he said 833 hospitalized and about 100 dead. He said when we peak out, max deaths in one day will be 84.

This was in contrast to the leftist epidemiologist from Emory who wanted the state shut down and declared that 27,000 would die. This Emory Dr is now revising his models daily to fit his agenda.
