BOSTON — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now “actively looking into” results from universal COVID-19 testing at Pine Street Inn homeless shelter.

The broad-scale testing took place at the shelter in Boston’s South End a week and a half ago because of a small cluster of cases there.

Of the 397 people tested, 146 people tested positive. Not a single one had any symptoms.

“It was like a double knockout punch. The number of positives was shocking, but the fact that 100 percent of the positives had no symptoms was equally shocking,” said Dr. Jim O’Connell...

Don't worry. The MSM will be sure to counter with some rare, select case of a healthy bloke who died of wuflu in order to put the scare back into the people.

I wonder what percentage of the 146 would recover if you gave them hydroxychloroquine ?

Is it though ? You mean that in April 2020 a homeless person with CV symptoms isn't allowed to stay in the homeless shelter.. Yeah, that's shocking.

Good luck Patrick. You posted a link showing the infection rate is substantially higher than the "experts" THINK (not know) and we get comment 2.... Ugh... mouth breathers are going to make the "pandemic" stick around longer than it needs to.

We need to lay off government workers tomorrow. Seriously. How quick does this "pandemic" go away once we do that? State level, federal, etc. Why should anyone in government be getting paid right now? They need to shelter in place to protect themselves and the half dead. Let's get to it!

Yep, if people ever thought government was working for them, the fact that government workers simply sit around and get paid ought to wake them up. I doubt it.

Those people have the best immune systems. They live on the street and eat out of the garbage.

Lol. Likely very true. Still have yet to hear of a lockdown that includes the homeless either. But hey, stop the spread....

that is why testing is needed

Totally agree with you there Tim.

It is looking more likely that the real death rate is even lower than the 0.37% of the infected as measured in Iceland and Germany. But only mass testing can tell.

And then there's this. 1 in 5 deaths is in a nursing home facility nation wide. Density and age.... A whole 20% of deaths are from people doing nothing. Oh well?

Interesting. We could pay these people for a quart of blood each, spin out the plasma, and create a antibody cocktail to inoculate everyone else from most diseases.

Exactly - which is as rare in a country of 330MM+ people as any other freak accident. Fuck the leftoid globalist lamestream media.

There's something else going on: They live mostly outside where they get exposed to everything but in very small amounts and thus build up immunity over time. Outside is the safest place to be, even with people around you (unless you're on a mass rally).

For comparison's sake, I wonder what percentage of the population would test positive for any strain of influenza while not showing any symptoms.

Most tests are not that sophisticated but you can get tests for type A and type B (which pretty much all fall into) antibodies done easily and cheaply. It doesn't tell you exactly what strain you had, but pretty much everyone in the population has ABs against one or the other if not both as (partial) immunity last for many years.

Yeah, I'm a mouth breather becasue I comprehend the total idiocy of people blindly promoting that treating a bunch of people that don't even have symptoms and getting an 90% recovery rate, when 96% are supposed to recover without the meds. It's not nearly as impressive as Trump total devotion syndrome sufferers would have you believe.

One of those studies that the promoters cited right here on this forum said that 80% of the participants in the study didn't have symptoms.

And this while depriving people that actually need the medication for purposed it has proven to be effective for.

19   theoakman   2020 Apr 18, 6:18am

It's a matter of exposure. My first year teaching, I must have been sick on 15 separate occasions. My 2nd year, maybe twice. My 3rd to 6th year, absolutely nothing. In my 7th year, I switched to a different school and got sick 7 or 8 times, one of them with a flu. The next 3 years, I have not been sick at all. Even when my son or daughter get sick, I don't catch anything. At this point, I've been exposed to so much crap that I just don't get sick anymore. I have a coworker that basically hasn't been sick in 20 years.

The funny part is there's a vaccine for that too. I'm not anti vaccine, it's just looking like this really isn't a pandemic at all. We're technically in constant pandemic with the flu by the numbers at this point.... WITH a vaccine for it. Without a vaccine, there's a chance Covid may not top a heavy flu season. People need to open their eyes and see they're being manipulated. Scary shit.
21   theoakman   2020 Apr 18, 8:22am

Coronavirus would likely beat the flu in years 1 and 2 if left to spread but it would quickly die out the same way swine flu did. Moreover, the population that is susceptible to it would have likely passed from it already.

Agree. But we've been through this before and somewhat recently with swine like you mention. Why the massive change in reaction? It's flipping weird. I heard about swine flu, but nothing I can remember changed compared to this. This reaction is on the level of world wars, yet it's not that much different than swine flu. This feels like a 2+2=7 moment. Doesn't add up.
